accuracy hurts pacman.... any punch he got rung by was str8 on the kisser and it was quick.... really in 3 fights he has barely been punched
Pac is not Hagler in terms of chin. But he hasn't been KD'd in a while. Marquez hit him with some really good shots where I thought he was going down but he took them very well.
Decent power. In fact, good power. Not good power for a welterweight, he doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as Mosley for instance, but no-one could just walk through his punches, he hits hard enough to get respect in there. I think it is a possibility he could stop Marquez. I love Dinamita (obviously), but I just don't like this fight for him.
On a 1-10 scale about 8 when he sits on his punches which is rare. The punch he hit Hatton with he didnt sit on, he was going backwards and moving out of the way. It was really an arm punch.
He's bigger than Pac, of course he hits harder. Floyd can knock people out, but, moving up in weight doesn't always bring the pain. Look at Guzman. The guy use to be called Little Tyson until he moved up to 130 and that power was no longer there. But, Floyd is a natural welter, that is why a fight with either Marquez or Pac would be a dangerous fight for them. His power is like 6.5.
he was avoiding punches. He a defensive dude. pacman dont care if he gets hit but he so accurate now a days i dont see how you can hit him but anyway floyd dont wanna end like this at the end of his career:tired:admin:deadthink
What interests me though is that it took multiple punches of arguably Floyd's best punch to stop N'Dou, he didn't throw anything that phased De La Hoya, he didn't knock out Zab Judah, Baldomir couldn't complain, and it took him 10 rounds to knock out Hatton who repeatedly waded in with his hands down. So, does Floyd's possible lack of power the reason why he appears to be avoiding a lot of the bigger opponents at 147? And I'm not taking anything away from Floyd, but people always want to say that he started his career at 130 and that's why he doesn't have to face the bigger guys, but is his power or lack of what is holding him back?
Average power, Great hand speed. Poor punchstat out-put (as a WW) Accurate puncher. scale of 1-10 as a WW 5.
How ya'll think his power will factor in his fight should it happen against Pac? Pac appears like he gets stunned by big punches, but does Floyd have that kind of punch, and if so, will he use it fast enough to gain Pac's respect?
