    Very good.

While all his losses were by knockout, they were all to current or future champions and, Tyson II fight aside, he performed well against them.

Everyone else he faced, he beat and usually knocked out.

If not a dominant champ, a definite contender. Bruno vs Seldon for the WBA & WBC in '96 could've been interesting.

His first fight with Mike Tyson was stuff of legends, captured the country's imagination.

    Where i am from..

    Growing up..

    There where many dogs, named..

    Tyson & Bruno..

    Usually Rock's and pitbulls.

I knew people who had pairs of dogs, and would call them..

    Tyson & Bruno..

Legend has it that, Frank Bruno was the first fighter ever to rock and hurt Mike Tyson.

Frank Bruno is a good heavweight only.

Everytime he stepped up to the elite he lost, bar his fight against the Iron Jawed but troubled McCall.

Him finally winning the world title against McCall was his greatest ever achievement, and deserves to be celebrated.

He was very good, I'd pick him over Wlad.

    He was a good HW.

Exciting to watch, and equipped with a TV friendly wacky personality.

Average to poor. His record doesnt stand up to scrutiny, anytime he fought somebody that could punch back he came unstuck. He would be destroyed by either Klitschko, both those fighters have far better records than Bruno.

he was a decent gatekeeper level hw in his day, but compared to the current scene i'd have to rate him as a good heavyweight.

i loved watching bruno when i was growing up

Absolute crap. You are clearly too young to remember when the heavyweight division had some quality. This also explains why you think the Klitchkos are so good. They're not, they are just blessed with **** opposition.

And the Lord did say: "I bequeth thee, the brothers Klitschko, with the power of **** opposition. With this blessing go forth in my name and conquer thy rubbish heavyweight division."
