How do you rate Povetkins win?

Good win.I want to see Povetkin vs some top 5-10 guy like Haye,Pulev,Fury,Stiverne and such.

If top 10 guys fight each other instead waiting for Wlad payday and retire after that,the division will be actually exciting,not saying the top guys in it are super skilled or something but it will be good to watch,once Wlad is finally gone with his boring style.

 

Povetkin looked god, Charr looked chubby.
Great inside work by Povetkin, hitting him from all angles, but Charr connected with a few jabs, but Povetkin was way too strong. It all ended with a great KO, which made me happy after watching a great Povetkin display.

 

Haye - Povetkin wouild be huge in Europe

 

In terms of his performance he looked good. He was in shape and went to work from the opening bell, no feeling out period, was in seek and destroy mode from the very first round.

But Charr was never that good. He simply had a recognisable name due to his fight with Vitali but in terms of ability he was never a top 20 heavyweight. He was so bad it's amazing anyone took him seriously. Some people thought this was a competitive fight, I even saw some people say it was a 50/50 fight! Utter madness.

I said it before the fight Povetkin chose a perfect opponent to make his comeback fight against. A big, slow, easy target, with no real power, yet with a recognisable name and a decent looking record if you don't look too deeply.

Overall a good performance against a handpicked opponent.

Charr is average at best but still Povetkin looked very good and in top shape. He was constantly moving in there, jumping in and out, changing angles..etc. He was as serious as a fighter can be. I definitely didn't expect a KO, thought Povetkin would win by UD. Very impressed by his performance and this is a good win.
