How do you rate Ricky Burns?

Decent fighter.

His strength - stepping forward throwing solid shots instead of retreating into his shell and conceding the initiative - will probably be weakness at the real top level as he'll come up against someone too quick and powerful who will catch him while Burns is opening up.

At the level he's fighting at the now(which is still pretty high) he has a very effective and simple style that works very well.

 

i dont see any SFW with Burn's speed and he getting stronger every fight.

 

With Frank Warren behind him it will be very possible imo and winnable:good

I agree, Kev is decent enough domestically but his idea of defence is putting his gumshield in which at the world level area wont cut it imo
