Are we talking SMWs or all weights?

    I think good

T Fury who became the top HW
    A Joshua unified HW champ
    Bellew CW champ
Degale and Groves won SMW titles and Eubank Jnr and C Smith looking like they are doing well
Saunders a MW champ with wins over top 10 MWs in Eubank Jnr, A Lee, Munroe and facing Lemieux next
L Smith winning a LMW title
K Brook who was a top WW but I think took too big a risk in going up to MW and dropping down, but before Brooks injury, I felt was beating Spence who many rate
J Taylor looks promising and J Catterall at LWW
at LW there is Flanagan, and other decent LWs in Crolla, Campbell with Burns late in his career
Featherweight there is Selby with Frampton, Quigg, Warrington
BW has McDonnell, Burnett, Butler who can come again
Sfly there is Yafai who has looked good

This is skimming things a bit and apologies for all not mentioned and forgotten

The UK HW scene is really good with T Fury, A Joshua, D Whyte, D Chisora, H Fury, D Price, with fighters like Dubois and Joyce coming through. Haye and Bellew having a rematch
With so few HWs in the UK that is very good

Yes I think it was Taylor to I get them both mixed up they are both nice LOL. Just started following them saw Taylor's fight with Davies and he was very impressive. I saw one of Kelley's fights as well. I think both will end up being good fighters can't wait to see more from both.

Taylor broke down and stopped Miguel Vasquez in his last fight as well. First to ever do it. He's probably the only fighter Vasquez hasn't made look average with his awkward, horrible style.

    Highlights.

Who would you like to see him face next? A title shot can't be that far down the line.

Lol it was Taylor I meant, keep getting mixed up but I agree Taylor’s the man to watch at the min,his unorthodox technique could be the one to test Lomo eventually

It's not bad for a Island the size of Texas.Given also the Uk dosent have the best Infastructure of Boxing such as Boxing Gyms,Amateur Boxing,Coaches and Trainers compared to America,Mexico,Eastern European Countries,it's not bad.

Titere has been around for a million years though. It would have been a lot more impressive stopping him 6 years ago.

Was big talk of Anthony Yigit for the European title but when Taylor was doing ringside analysis for Yigits last win a few weeks ago he basically ducked Taylor to his face on live TV, said he is going down to 135 because he isn't as strong as he wants to be at 140. At least he was honest tbf lol. He's at that place where he's far too good for domestic and Euro level but no need to rush him into the very best of the division just yet. Hopefully he gets another top ten guy next like Indongo or Molina Jr.

Everybody is too cool to mention Chocolate Brownies (even though he is clearly the best of the Brits in the post-Froch era) why, because he currently happens to be coming off two consecutive TKO losses, so now he's a leper pariah or something? Neither of those exactly came at the hands of a bum, though, did they? Golovkin was pretty forgivable, moving up and all, top p4p monster type guy in it? - and Kell didn't embarrass himself like some in those circumstances (*cough, Rigondeaux*) - nor did he really have anything to be ashamed of re: his effort versus Spence.

Vasquez is 30 I think and he doesn't have a style that's easily ring worn. The only person to bash him up was Taylor. I agree he was past his best but the size and skill difference was the main factor. Was an impressive win but I wouldn't go overboard either. Great learning fight.

Only thirty, wow, hard to believe and yet there it stands in black and white. He fought Bradley and Canelo (twice) both near the beginnings of their careers. Granted he was nineteen when he debuted versus Canelo (tall order!!) and even that isn't all thar young by Mexican pro debut standards, but still. It feels like he ought to be older. Regardless his best form was certainly in the era from 2008 until 2012. Decent name and learning experience for Taylor for sure, though.

It's still a pretty darn good result for a guy of Taylor's slight pro record. Not so much the win, but the very thorough, professional manner of it. Vazquez is a trade spoiler, good at making your boxing look bad and hard to get out of there.

As a sidenote, there does seem to be a slightly unpleasant, sneering aspect to Taylor's character outside the ring, although that could just be a product of spending a lot of time with the McGuigans. Frampton was the same when egged on by that clan.

He was very respectful with Miguel Vasquez pre and post fight. I think Ohara Davies brought out an unpleasant side to him.
