How do you rate Tyson Fury's chances against Oleksandr Usyk?

I give him a better chance now than if he'd gone straight into it without the circus fight.
He was getting cocky and lazy and dismissive even by his own standards and this probably serves as a wake-up call.
Even his brother implied this was a problem and that they have to fix it.

If he'd fought Usyk with that mentality, thinking he'd just 'big dog' him, might have been in for a shock.
Now he's been humiliated, he knows he has to knuckle down and so probably ends up a better Fury come fight night.

That doesn't necessarily mean he wins, but he's in a better position now probably, back to the wall.

I think under Hill he's at a disadvantage coaching-wise though because he has no strategy and the simpleton Hill's notion of just setting up RHs and closing the show seems utterly comical against someone like Usyk, literally the most predictable thing you could ever do. Add to that Fury's RH isn't even massive by SHW standards, it's not as big as AJ's, Wilder's, Price's, Helenius' etc., it's just all so ridiculous.

    50/50 based on last performance.

I had it 70/30 in favor of Fury before. I believe a fully game Fury wins but I have questioned his mindset at this point of his career. That showed last fight.

If he gets his body in shape and his mind in the game then Fury wins.

If the fight is Dec23 he's looking at a loss but he's trying to push it out another two months. If that date is confirmed I guarantee Fury will not enter camp until January in poor physical - and mental - shape with 7 weeks to get ready. Chances are by end of Feb he'll be worse than he was vs Ngannou. I don't see many positives for Fury outside of his bank balance. Usyk is going into this expecting to finish what Ngannou started.

It will be a very different Tyson Fury by February and obviously against a very different opponent. Usyk brings a completely different game to the one Ngannou was able to trouble Fury with and Fury's size and reach will be huge factors in him defeating Usyk.

I hope Usyk wins but Fury has 60 pounds on him and 7in of reach so he'll back to his old weight bully tricks. Fury by KO would be the most likely outcome.

people underestimate the importance of speed in boxing. So what if Ngannou is strong and hits hard? he shouldn't be able to hit Tyson like that because he should be faster enough to avoid it. But that wasn't the case The gangly MMA guy (because with all due respect Francis was quite wooden) was actually as fast as Fury... Usyk will introduce such a pace in the fight that the 125-kilogram Tyson will have the most blows to the back. He always had problems with mobile, faster opponents. He was left with size, but firstly, you don't win a fight with a clinch, and secondly, Usyk is someone special and will probably be able to withstand such boxing thanks to his horse's efficiency and the best legs in the business. Of course, there is no point in writing Tyson off because he is still a great fighter and will come out better mentally prepared. The question is whether he can be physically better because this is the second fight in a row where he brings a weight at which he is simply sluggish. For me today it's 60/40 for Usyk who will rise to the top and outpoint the slower Gypsy queen.

The fight is still fairly even, I'm not diminishing Fury's qualities because of his poor performance against Ngannou, I'm convinced that before the fight he was lazy and didn't prepare as he should have, the fight with Usyk is 50-50, but those two aren't getting any younger and the postponement it doesn't bring any good...
