Vitali Klitschko has been a champion for some time now, does he have the necessary credentials to be considered an ATG? He can boast several belts and he has fought a few top quality opponents. What do you boxing fans have to say?!

Vitali is for sure an ATG. He has/had the tools to beat or at least give any heavyweight of any era a great fight. He always had my respect you cannot ask for more from him he did what a champion does and more. I do not blame him for his weak competition, but that is not his fault at all. Both of his losses are controversial and just so happened he is fighting in the wrong era so we could of seen how truly great he could of been.

In a way, I think him and his brother helped boxing by making it popular again in Germany and paving the way for fighters all over the world to make their careers there.

Low ATG. He gets in on statistics and few good wins- Sanders, Hide, Peter, JCGomez. I even like the Danny Williams win after Danny's wild brawl with Tyson. Hopefully, a couple fo guys like Arreola and Peter will go on to do some things an make Vitaly look better in retrospect.

I would really like to see him fight Valuev and Haye. If he added those wins, I would personally rate him much higher.

Yeah I hope he fights Haye at least. Valuev would be intersting to watch since they're both tall and big.

No way in hell he is an ATG. He's not even in the top 15 heavies of all time, so there is no way he can be a ATG boxer.

To me, anyone who dominates the cruisers and rises to win a heavyweight belt has proven himself to be a great figther of sorts in his own right, so I think this would great a win. I will be honest in saying that I would expect Vitaly to win, but a lot of guys on here see it the other way. So it seems like a good, competetive fight that alot of people would be interested in- the kind of stuff history is made of.

A lot of people get down on Valuev as he doesn't punch his weight, and is as ponderous as you would expect, but his size, chin, stamina, jab and awkwardness make him a long night for anyone. Sure, he should probably have a few more losses on his record, but the flip side of that is he has never really been dominated. Vitaly could make a real statement by doing so.

His opposition has been pretty weak,,, and he managed to lose to the two best guys he ever faced in Byrd and Lewis (all be it, by injuries while ahead on points)

But he's a HOF'er and possibly ATG just based on the fact that he's so big and awkward, with a great chin, unique skills, intelligence and ...power! (when he decides to sit down on his punches)

I think he'd be a tough night's work for all the other widely recognised ATG heavyweights. ... No?

Imagine Vitali vs: Dempsey, Marciano, Frazier... I believe these little guys could potentially beat Vitali,,, but it would'nt be no walkover thats for damm sure.

H2H he is a problem for anyone. Weak resume though he doesnt rank that great all time. He is top 50 though all time, but closer to 50. Wlad for instance is already considerably higher and will end up very high in all likeihood

    Are you talking heavyweights onlY??

Because you cn't possibly mean ANY Klitschko is in the top 50 boxers pound of pound of all time. That would be absurd.

V.K. is the man............... The best since Lenny Lewis............. He is an ATG fighter and champion...... With his size, skill, weight, muscle, smarts, strength, power and height, V.K. could very well hang out in any era of heavyweight boxing and kick some ass in the division..... The dude is not gonna be easy to beat by anybody..........

V.K. has only lost upon being injured in the ring..... A torn rotor-cuff against Byrd in 2000 and a severly cut eye against Lewis in 2003..... V.K. has never come close to losing on points or by KO..... Yeah, he's pretty good.......
