Pretty good. I have a good eye for talent and breaking fights down. The only fights I got wrong this year were Joshua-Usyk and Galahad-Martinez. In both instances I over-estimated the loser's ability and mental toughness and thought they would win emphatically.
My knowledge is casual level. Was a fighter in my teenage years at bantam and featherweight. Walk around as a cruiser now. Fought like a prime Roy Jones Jr. without the reflexes, power and handspeed. Just love the sport and wanna see good competitive fights, no matter the records. The biggest attraction is you are alone in there without teammates You either eat of get eaten in a boxing ring.
I can only give my opinion, and I'm not particularly interested in watching men who weigh as much as my granny or are really short in height. There are plenty who enjoy it, but I couldn't care less. Sorry if you're a really small guy, bud.
I used to be more years ago, today I am more of a fab four historian rather than all around boxing like I used to be.. I was just more into the magazines and boxing history before. Boxing in the last 20 years has not excited me as much, but I still like the fights, just not as exciting and the level of quality is not as high.
I consider myself to be very knowledgeable when it comes to the heavyweights. Less so with the lighter weights.
Used to be about a five or so but thanks to Mark Ants threads is now off the charts its so high right now it would fail a drug test.
I used to pay attention to just about every division, watched every fight I could. I get the sweet science better than the average joe but basically a casual these days when it comes to the fighters. There’s some guys that some of you mention and I’ve never even HEARD of.
