I tend to look look closely who lands harder cleaner shots (1 big stronger hand punch is better than 3 stiff jabs). If round is very close and Im puzzled, I look at generalship and effective aggression . I also try to see witch fighter feels more comfortable of the two (balance and movement) in close rounds, like in close round A fighter is more agressive but tends to go off balance while fighter B going backwards controlls the distance and stays comfortably on his feet.

I try to keep track in my head second by second who is ahead in the round, so if one guy lands a jab he is now ahead then the other guy lands a harder jab he is now slightly ahead. Then the first guy lands a couple body shots to pull ahead but the second guy lands a clean right cross so it is even again. Eventually by the end of the round one guy will have built up a lead, and I have no problem with even rounds if not much happened or if they were equal. I dont think its fair to give an even round to one fighter just because he looked happier in that round or whatever.

As far as I know there no rules on how to score a round. You take in to acount certain factors but in the end it comes down to who did you think was best in those 3 minuets.

This is where Oscar ****ed up in the Fight of the Millenium. In his own warped mind he was ahead. In the minds of the judges he was lacking. You never leave it in the hands of clueless, blind ass judges like Glen Hamada or Jerry Roth.

You do know they read of that list before every HBO fight.

    1. Clean punching-(meaning landing)
    2. Effective aggression (see effective)
    3. Defense
    4. Ring generalship

Your basis is whay the **** off. This information is widely available. Aggression dont mean **** if it is uneffective.

Effective Aggression, Clean punches, Ring Generalship.

So to break down the Froch Vs Dirrel fight.

Froch was the agressor but Dirrel counter punched nicely.
Problem for Dirrel was he was running so you SPLIT that 50/50. Why?Cuase it is allot easier to hit someone going backward like that cuase you make the opponent over extend.
    Clean Punches.
Both were landing jabs. Though I thought Froch had the better jabs. Dirrel landed nice counter punches while Froch had to chase and take some to land those left hooks.
Agaisn. Split 50/50 because Dirrel was running.

    Ring Generalship.
You cant win this one if your running. You are not making the fight and in no way actually controlling the fight. The other fighter is so Froch wins this one.

Final outcome for me was 113/111 Froch
    Hence the SD.

    Dirrel hurt himself.
he did ALLOT better when he didnt run. You can look up on here for my complete scorecard but the last 3 rounds I had tied. With the 10th where Dirrel lost a point and came back to win the round and on the 12th. If I had to (which I dont) give it to one I would to Froch.

Froch will get KO'd by either AA or Kessler.
Long as Kessler lives up to his pedigree against Ward. And hopefully this will make
Ward stand ground and not run.

I don't give points for running, not for falling down on canvas, complaining and excessive holding.
