Of course, I am rooting for Haye to retire the boring Russian robot. However, I favour Vitali to beat him. The key to beat either Klitschko is by backing them up and Haye is a boxer who won't be the agressor. LL was the agressor and beat up Vitali, so was Puritty and Brewster against Wlad. Haye is the better boxer but I expect that Vitali will get a a late round stoppage after encountering difficulties in the early rounds. Eventually Vitali's chin and toughness may prevail. If Haye can't score a KO in the early rounds, Vitali's pressure might just be too much. Of course, I could be wrong but I think that is the likely scenario.
I could go into detail, but really I think it'll simply be a case of Vitali being able to take it and Haye not. The Spinks-Holmes plan might work, get in & get out, but I don't think Haye is that kind of boxer. So Vitali KO6. I won't mind being wrong, because it'll set up Wlad-Haye HUGE.
Vitali fighting tall and leaning back as he jabs and moves. Haye swinging wildly and missing and Vitali countering his wild misses. Vitali by mid rounds lands the counter that ends it. Haye is a fool, bad style matchup for him, he should have waited on the statue, and avoided the statue on roller skates.
Vitali winning early after a possible Sandersesque start. Dude is a lethal machine, I just don't see Haye surviving unless Vitali REALLY slowed down between fights.
Haye will have one or two rounds to swing for the fences and hope to connect. But after that, it's Vitali by brutal beatdown, ending in TKO 7.
Would appreciate if you respected my nation and its people by referring to them as Ukrainians, not Russians. Millions of Ukrainians gave their life to preserve its language, nation, and people.
