when was the last time mayweather fought a YOUNG slick fast boxer?

i dont think floyd would have such an easy time with someone like maliganggi etc

    floyd would win

but it wouldnt be a shutout

IT will be an interesting fight I guess. If Malignaggi survived that bloody match with Cotto with a broken jaw, then I don't think it's going to be a walk in the park for Floyd Maywhether if he faces him... :)

Malignaggi would do okay, but Floyd's superior skills see him through to a comfortable decision.

Great matchup and actually I wouldn't mind seeing it. Pauile has a great speed and jab it would find a home even on a defensive guru like PBF. Paulie is a lot easier to hit than PBF and I think that and PBF's ring generalship would be the difference in a win for PBF. Paulie probably wins atleast 3 rounds though.

Malignaggi would have zero chance in this fight. Everything Paulie does well, Floyd does much better. Paulie also has next to no power. Floyd could actually walk him down(I know, Floyd doesn't walk people down, but he did against Judah) and pumel him with combinations. I like Paulie, but he's not ready for the big boys yet. What would make anyone think that someone with no power and below average defense would have any chance against Floyd.

Floyd wins this either 9-3 or 8-4, and I'm a fan of Paulie's. Malignaggi's in the class of "very good fighter" with the potential for bigger things, but he's not up to the HOF-caliber level one would need to be at to beat PBF.

What Malignaggi does have a chance to do is unify at 140 given how wide open the division is, and that should be his priority now.
