Brewster was there for the paycheck, anyone that watched the fight could see he wasnt all there night. I just hope Lamon could fully recover from all the wars he had over the years, he really is a one of the few good guys in the sport today.

I agree, Brewster is a great guy who I hope can comeback and regain his status.

But to say he was merely there to get a paycheck is to totally discredit that fact that Wlad's left hand is the reason W H Y Brewster couldn't get anything done. Let's give credit where credit is due. Had there been an opening for Brew to charge in and land a hail mary KO shot, I tend to believe he would have taken the chance, don't you?

Wlad prevented Brewter from doing anything in the rematch. Bottom line, period.

That said, I hope the Ibragimov fight is not a boring chase the little Russian fight, but I bet it will be. I think Ibrag will run more than Davarryl Williamson did, but only Ibrag will be too cautious to get a KD, as TOS did manage.

(even if the KD was an off balance KD, it was scored as a KD, so you gotta give him credit for lunging in long enough to do that........)

On the Brewster issue, so your telling me that Peter is a better a boxer than Brewster? Peter was able land shots on Wlad when they fought, even in the first Brewster fight, he got some decent shots in the early rounds, it just was over shadowed by the punishment Wlad inflicted. I have been following Brewster since 2000, when he fought Clifford Eitiene. Brewster can take punishment with the best of them, and still last 12 rounds. The fact that Buddy pulled the plug on Lamon so early makes no sense to me, especially not taking even close to the punishment he did in the first fight.

Iggy is going to run all night like you said, he doesnt have the balls to go toe to toe with Wlad. Iggy's whole plan is to take Wlad into later rounds hopping he gets tired enough to take him out, but I dont see that working for him. Manny will tell Wlad to start throwing the right hand more after the 5th or 6th round, after that bombs away. Iggy will not make it past the 8th round, after the 6 it only be a matter of time before Wlad catches him with something big, and the fight will either be stopped or Iggy will be KO'd.
