Dream fight, how do you think a fight between Canelo and Hagler would have gone at middleweight. I think it would have been similar to GGG vs. Canelo but I think Hagler brings more problems for Canelo with his monster chin, workrate, jab, stamina and his ability to switch stances.

What a total & utterly mouth watering scrap.

I'm strongly leaning towards the Mexican getting baptised by the Marvelous one.

Other than possibly out and out power (debatable) I think Hagler ticks all the advantage boxes here.

Marvin's where the money's at for me

Competitive first half but Marvin wears down Ginger nuts with his superior stamina and better punch variety for a UD.

Close fight. Similar to Canelo-GGG fights. The roids really made a huge difference in Canelos ability to take a punch.

Close fight but i think Haglers southpaw stance would give Canelo fits.

If you think Canelo v Hagler is a close fight then you must have GGG beating Hagler as well.

Smithy the GGG gatekeeper. If Canelo Hagler would be close, that would mean GGG would beat Hagler? Because according to you GGG is better than Canelo? Don't try so hard to put GGG above Canelo, you can't do that no matter how hard you try. This is about Canelo and Hagler.

I gotta go with Hagler on this one. He’d push a frantic pace and win the battle of chin and stamina. Hagler by decision.

This would have to be at 154 on the new weigh in system because otherwise Canelo has a serious weight advantage. At 154 I think Hagler spanks him. If we're talking 160 with the modern weigh in system Canelo has a much better chance.

I think Hagler would be too tough. This is a different quality.. Hagler knew the game and was southpaw and had a lot of power himself. Underrated power with a 75 inch reach. I think mid round knockout.
