But you're acting like Hagler wouldn't use the day before weigh in to his advantage as well. He could gain another 10, 15 lbs too.

GGG beating Hagler is not an absurd idea.

Canelo is naturally bigger and heavier. He uses drugs to boil down. Hagler was always small-to-average at the weight. Canelo will benefit much more from increased hydration.

Hagler towards the end of would punish Canelo and finish him off
    Between the 9th and 12th

Not to say he wont take a beating through out the fight up until that point

He most certainly will but he will suck it up and come through

Just too tough for Canelo this time

Hagler's workrate was few levels above Canelo's one. And if GGG clearly beat Canelo in the first fight, Hagler would do it much easier since he was just better boxer than GGG skill wise

Hagler still whoops him. Usyk proved size can be nullified with a well executed game plan.

Hagler would dominate Canelo. 15 rounds Hagler stops Canelo. Over 12 Canelo might last the distance. Hagler beat better fighters than Lil G.

Definitely, 2 atg’s at the weight it’s a hard fight for both. Now with Canelos punch output might be the problem against MH, he’s easily tough an skilled enough to get in with MH but I think he has to start differently or he will lose a clear UD

The Marvin of the Sibson fight around that time would drill Canelo, there's no way he goes 15 with Marvin.

Hagler mainly beat little fighters though. Light weight and welters formed Haglers legacy if you wanna go down that road
