I wouldn't say that Bruno was particularly slow.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ive always felt, that the Bruno that fought Oliver Mccall and Mike Tyson the second time, was Muscle bound..and not a functional athlete.

Against Lennox Lewis, this was Frank Bruno's best ever shape for a fight.

Against Oliver Mccall he was just more experienced and wise inside the ring.

There was about a stone and a half difference.

Bruno may have come up short against them but I would give him a great shot at Wlad.

And lets not forget...Frank would have at least had a go. These overweight, out of shape contenders of today don't even give it their best shot.

    It was'nt Functional Muscle Mass......

Against Lennox Lewis he was still big "A Super Heavyweight"...

    And he was quite athletic...

Compared to the Frank Bruno vs Mccall and Tyson.

Just watched Bruno v Lewis it was a really good solid performance by Bruno ,they seemed on a fairly even keel until that left hook zipped on Bruno's chin.
Saying that you always got the feeling Lewis had more in the locker to come.

    Cheers for the heads up:good

You forget what an animal early Tyson was. You would NEVER see a Klitschko in a fight like that. Never. Were lucky if we even get a HW fight at that pace these days. Fat ****s

Just rewatched the first round of Bruno v Tyson 1.

Wlad wouldn't have lasted a round against either of them, too much ambition and firepower.

I can still recall Lewis holding Brunos head with one hand while throwing huge uppercuts with the other. One of the most disgusting cowardly acts I have ever seen in a boxing ring.

I'm a grade a Klitschko hater and i still pick Wlad and Vitali to KO Bruno, Frank was a very popular yet very overrated fighter.
