Cotto will shock the world and knock Margo out. This will be absolutely brutal. Cotto is a great fighter, the loaded gloves thing really pissed him off, he will be coming with a vengeance.

:good I think Cotto would have won the first IF Margo wasn't cheating
I also think that after the beating Margo took he is the most "shot".

    :patsch

Thats like saying Freddie Roach is a one trick phony with his ( side to side movement, combination punching), or the Mayweathers with their (shoulder roll defense).

Trainers having different styles does not make them one trick ponys noob.

Trainers come in all shapes and sizes. Just like in other sports.

And I give Steward credit for being honest with his fighters. Teling Lennox to finish off Tyson in their fight, doing the same thing with Wladimir. Steward tells it straight. He doesn't kiss ass like many other trainers.

Margo took a bad beating from Pac and still was never stunned, the man has a great chin, i guess well see how much he has left on fight night

Cotto doesnt hit as hard as pac and he couldnt KO margo, cotto doesnt hit hard enough to get Margos respect, so its all about how cotto wants nto fight he can probably win easily boxing and running the whole night, but cotto is better then that and will want to exchange. And no way Mayorga has a better chin the Margfarito

Cotto has always been a guy that would go to a more boxing and moving approach against certain types of opponents. He spent about as much of the Abdulleav fight on the backfoot and circling as he did against Margarito, and that was back in 05'.

I'm not really sure how much either has left though, especially Margarito. Cotto looked alright to me in his last couple fights. Not shot but certainly declined. Margarito is a big question mark. A lot of mileage on his body from a long career, and he got the holy **** kicked out of him by Shane and Manny.

the best way to beat margo is to improve cotto's lateral movement that can nullify margo's accurate ring cutting.

margo is not the same fighter he was, all you have to do is look at his last fights since getting caught he has looked average at best

I didn't see anything in Miguel's last 3 fights that suggest he knows how to clinch.

Clinching is a foreign object to him like tacos in beijing

Margo must have had plaster in his jaw because he was eating those shots and still coming. He shattered Cotto's psyche in that fight. I've never seen a world class fighter wilt that badly before.

Pacquiao had Margarito on wobbly legs at the end of round 10 with a flush counter right hook. I thought he was just about ready to go.

If Cotto learns how to clinch, he will win. That is why he got his ass beat in the first fight. He couldn't keep Marg off him. His foot speed is to slow so when Marg gets in close he NEEDS to clinch. Manny beat Marg moving around the ring and Shane Mosley clinched him. Cotto needs to clinch.

Do you think he's capable of learning that tactic in just 4 months? I doubt he's chillin with Steward right now. Steward is a very relaxed trainer and a busy man at the same time.
