Man im not sure at all! I think JMM has problems with boxers ( bradley,Mayweather) and i think Alvarado is a boxer puncher. If Mike moves around and fights how he usually fights hes got a good chance. problem is that JMM is the 2nd best counterpuncher in the sport if u ask me. so JMM has to use that to his advantage but waiting the whole night is not good because Mike just doesnt come foward, he moves. This is a true toss up IMO. Young Mike moving around and boxing, JMM countering. I think both guys can get dropped for sure. i think this can maybe be a FOTY candidate. I dont mind if either fighter wins. If JMM it might be better because I turly believe he will not fight Pacquiao in a 5th fight so that'll make Pacquiao fight somebody else and somebody good. put the pressure on him to make Arum stop the cold war crap or I just dont know who he can fight. If Alvarado wins then im 100% sure Pac-Alvarado is next and i dont want to see that at all. Im leaning towards Mike but you dont know how hes gonna react to taking a pounding. Alvarado loses to fighters of the caliber of Bam Bam Rios and Prov and suddenly he can beat the HOF second best counter puncher in the sport.
jmm will take the 5th fight to much money on the line he is already giving hints saying he could fight him.... if i was him i wouldn't take the 5th fight but he is to stupid if he fights pac and pac beats him people will just say pac got revenge would be a absolute stinker for jaun....
JMM takes to the ropes Alvarado pushes on him then JMM throws a lowblow..down he goes...Marquez climbs onto the corner post does a frontflip and finishes Alvarado off with a bodyslam the crowd goes wild!
I think Alvardo is damaged goods at this point. His wars with Rios2x and Provo have taken something out of him. Alvarado was a decent boxer and if he was still prime he could use his length jab and movement and try and catch JMM on the way in. But I wouldn't bet on it. I see JMM outboxing Alavrado who IMO is past it. Alvarado's best gameplan would be try and make this fight a war and get JMM to exchange and hope that he can catch him with something big and put him down. JMM can be lured into exchanging and without a doubt it's his best plan of action. Otherwise JMM will win this fight.
Guys who have jmm problems, floyd, Bradley, pac, Chris john, Norwood, MAB, shot casamayor. They are all have elite technical skills. Alvarado doesn't.
Different level of fighters and really depends what JMM has left not only in skills but hunger. Some fighters late in their career will look for a way out if it gets too tough. Having said that I think Jmm will look to trade with Alvarado and see him getting a UD.
I'm really looking forward to this fight. I think johnny will hurt mike and possibly drop him but I feel like mike will get on his bike and outbox him. Johnny isn't aggressive or active enough. I hope I'm wrong.
