How do you think Joshua would fare against Usyk in a third fight?

So like an even more pronounced GGG-Canelo where the better fighter has been clearly established and we're watching only to see if one of the fighters is, indeed, old as ****?

Get whooped again. And most likely actually stopped. Usyk is smarter and will make even more adjustments.

This. Joshua had his chance to go for the stoppage on Usyk in the rematch, but wasn’t willing to take the risk. I don’t see this changing in a third fight.

He doesn't deserve another shot at him. Usyk whooped his ass x 2 despite having everything stacked heavily against him, the first time of which in his backyard in front of 65,000 + rabid AJ fans.

Usyk could whoop his ass x 100 and we would still see many making excuses for AJ and be extremely reluctant to give Usyk his credit for doing so. It's really weird.

Usyk would never have been given a rematch if AJ had just eked past him once and had AJ beaten him twice no one would be questioning who the better fighter is. Usyk is just the far superior fighter and if they were even remotely close to the same size he would beat AJ 100 times out of 100. But AJ deserves two rematches?

E-Hearn was quick to shutdown any talk of a rematch between AJ and J-Park last night? Why has J-Park never been given a rematch? What about Fat Andy getting a chance to avenge his loss to AJ? ReMatchroon thinks AJ deserves as many rolls of the dice as it takes until they get the score they want but never more than one roll for his opponents.

Usyk turns 37 in a few weeks and he was already past his best going into the first AJ fight not to mention one of the judges robbed him in the rematch and one only had AJ losing the first fight by a single round

Would love to see it. His head would flip off Monty Python style after a third go.

Yeah pretty much this, even though I'm a fan of both. Usyk is clearly past his prime, and his style is all about his physical attributes that are the first to go away, speed, reflexes, movement, footwork, etc, etc, punch resistance, etc, etc.

People also forget that Usyk had 350 amateur fights.
Still Usyk is so good, the result doesn't change.

I think AJ performing better in the second fight was more due to Usyk country event, and he couldn't train for quite some time, and that he naturally declined. You can even see it in his body. He weight the same, but his body in terms of definition looks worst.
And way worst compare to his CW days.

AJ is in his peak and i think he will be in his peak, prolly for 2024 and 2025 and then start declining, based on his style as well.

Third fight is irrelevant, as AJ is going to be in his full prime, and Usyk will be 38 or so, and probably a good 3-4 years behind his last prime days.

As far as Parker and Ruiz, they won't offer anything in terms of legacy for AJ at this point and i think it' irrelevant fights. AJ should looks to clean the division outside of Usyk, and if he can lure Fury for a fight, that will be great.

I guess Hrgovic, Ngannou, Zhang, Joyce, Kabayel, Bakole, Anderson and Fury, would and should be on AJ short/long term radar.
    Usyk is a closed page.

AJ is in the best shape out of all the outgoing generation physically. No injuries, no serious wars, no major stress on his body.

He was and still does have mental weaknesses, but it’s not being the realms of possibility that Usyk drops off a bit more over the next 18 months and AJ can win.

Don’t forget that even though Usyk won wide both times, AJ did still have some success

He'd get taken to Ukrainian slick school again, with maybe a few decent moments here and there like in the previous two fights.

Usyk's the one man in the division Joshua can never beat.

Ben Davison is saying AJ would ''love to put the Usyk loss right.'' Er. he lost to him twice not once even though he had everything stacked heavily in his favour

And how do you put two losses right? In order to put them right he would have to beat Usyk x 3 otherwise he's 2-2 against him. But one win alone will be enough to rectify those losses in their eyes and the eyes of many AJ fans even against an old past prime Usyk. There is zero honour in that type of thinking.

The fact Usyk's country was at war for the rematch gets completely ignored by many like it's some trivial little thing. But AJ still got outclassed 8-4 at worst

Yes, he is and his body looks soft at HW whereas it was ripped at CW. The weight he was coming in at down at CW is his optimum fighting weight.

There was never any talk of rematches for J-Park or Fat Andy at the time. The J-Park fight was a lot closer than the judges had it IMO but even now after beating The Dosser and resurrecting his career E-Hearn has no interest in granting J-Park a rematch but somehow AJ deserves two rematches against Usyk when he didn't even deserve one. AJ is 1-1 against Fat Andy. Sure, AJ won the rematch wide but to balance that out Fat Andy stopped him in the first fight and AJ ran like a thief in the night in the rematch.

Yeah, AJ vs any of those are good fights sans Ngannou

The rematch was about as good as AJ could do against Usyk.

AJ does not have the ring IQ, footwork, speed, engine or mental attitude and would fail in his own mind before failing in the ring.

Joshua looked REALLY sharp against Wallin, and Davidson seems to have found the formula to get him fighting without nervous energy, AND Usyk is definitely declining...

...BUT, Joshua is first and foremost a confidence fighter, and in both previous fights with Usyk, any confidence was all but extinguished in the first round with angles, sharp jabs and that backhand.

Coupled with the demons from the first 2 defeats, I can't see how Joshua could do any better unless Usyk has really slipped and can't execute - which is possible, but I wouldn't bet on it

The Usyk page has turned and that book is firmly shut, simply put the things that Joshua needs to beat Usyk he did not need to beat Wallin, but hey this is the new Joshua ! Joshua fought Wallin from the first bell with confidence and without nervous energy which is certainly an improvement that nobody can deny and a step in the right direction, however a win over Wallin does not mean that he beats Usyk in a third fight .

Usyk sends him into another childish meltdown
Fast Eddie will be praying to God that the fury/usyk fight(s) are wars, while he keeps matching his bodybuilder with pillow fisted guys so they can come in and Snatch a victory later this year or next

Thankfully, Usyk and Fury are too skilled to lose to the Robot, even if they are a little shopworn
