    Terribly

I don't even think he'd do well at light-heavyweight. Just too unskilled, and lacking in positive attributes in general outside of his power and stamina.

I would expect him to have success in any era, however the size disparity might be too great, against the best men of the era.

At the very least, we would have to say that the light heavyweights of his era, were streets ahead of the best today.

I don't know think he was durable enough to have a complete career at heavyweight. At cruiser, he would be successful tho he would pick up some losses.

Tough as teak but light of weight, short reach and height, those are the obvious issues.

Likewise would Rocky's total disregard for the rules of the noble art be accepted today? No.

Would Rocky be permitted to carry on in fights with some of the cuts that he sustained? No.

He would be a light heavyweight by today's standard and likely the top guy in the division.

if you propose bringing Rocky to the present, with the advances in training and nutrition, AND with fighting 12 round fights, he would be fighting closer to his natural 205 plus, not 184. So The Rock could have been a heavyweight today, a very small one but a heavyweight.
BIGGER DOES NOT MEAN BETTER! A good big men HAS to be a good big men to beat a good little men.
And many folks forgot just forgot how tough and great Marciano, and NO i don't thinks he beats anybody in any era, i would favor like 30-40 fighters to beat him, but todays heavyweights (except possibly fury) doesn't belong in that list.
Marciano’s old school brawler style is a bad matchup for AJ and one can visualize a similar fight path to AJ vs Ruiz Jr… Other than physical strength and size, AJ doesn’t really have any other advantages over Marciano. It’s likely that AJ will stay on his bike as he did in the rematch with Ruiz. For Marciano, it’s gonna be a slow & patient stalking job & I can see him getting to AJ by the middle rounds; but not after some fierce exchanges.

The slippery Tyson Fury will be a sterner test and he too will want to keep the fight as long as possible. I can see the defensively skilled Fury taking the early rounds, with Marciano coming on strong later & taking over in the second half of the fight. In this particular matchup, Marciano’s superior stamina & workrate should prove decisive— particularly down the stretch... Marciano by UD.
