How do you think the fight between Usyk and Fury will play out ?

This is true if wilder would try a clean technical fight against usyk.

But i do not think usyk would take many of wilders bombs in a dirty battle . This would be the "windmill of death" for usyk in such a scenario.

I,m a fan of usyk but he up to now only demonstrsted superior technical skills against joshua in the hw division. He has to prove how he handles a dirty battle against opponents which are far bigger than him / opponents which have far more punching power than him .

Wilder would find it extremely difficult to time Usyk in order to hit him with a huge power punch.

Wilder will always be the most dangerous guy at HW, due to his speed, power, confidence and unpredictability.

It only takes a split second for him to change a fight.

However, he’s not great technically, and if you can take away his power shots, it leaves him extremely vulnerable.

I honestly don’t think he’d get the opportunity to land something huge on Usyk, and I think that Usyk would end up just taking him apart.

I’d love to see the match up.

@ loudon : you might of course be correct . If usyk would be able to avoid wilders bombs he would dominate the fight . Without any doubt usyk outperforms wilder in skills .

I doubt we will ever see this match . As you say correctly wilder is dangerous for everybody and usyk knows it .

Wilder has no belt to offer and nothing to loose. so why should usyk agree to a fight where he has little to win but a fortune to loose ?

If the fight gets made, Fury will win via a boring, Klitschko esque performance or stoppage. Usyk is the far superior technician, but will have to deal with a 270lb slob leaning all over his back for 12 rounds. Fury is a master at adapting when things aren't going his way. As we know he struggles with smaller, technical boxers. When he was getting soundly outboxed by the likes of Pajkic, Cunnigham & Wallin (the first 2 dropping him heavy, & Wallin opening a deep cut on his eye that almost stopped the fight) - he resorted to using mauling, rough-housing wrestling tactics to neutralise their offense & overpower them. He managed to knock out 2 of them (Cunnigham & Pajkic).

I feel Usyk will suffer the same fate, as he'll be outboxing Fury, until Fury starts to use his rough-housing tactics to overwhelm Usyk. Unless the referee is stringent about his rough-housing tactics, then there's no way Usyk wins - but there's no reason to believe there will be stringent rules, as in those 3 fights (& even the Wilder fights), Fury was allowed to repeatedly use these tactics.

Usyk has too much speed, skill and endurance for Fury imo

    Fury will win if motivated/sharp.

Usyk will be motivated and sharp no matter what and I can see him punishing an out of shape Fury.

I'm not convinced Fury wants the Usyk fight.

Going off his last fight Usyk just dances around the sloth to a UD.

I hope I'm wrong but going of Tyson's past it's hard to think otherwiise.

I'm still not convinced by Usyk at heavyweight, I want to see what comes of this next AJ fight. I think people have got carried away with Usyk.

Fury is a tried and tested top tier heavyweight, he comes into this fight as favourite for me.

Usyk boxes in a wonderous fashion for 10 rounds. Cuts Fury up like Wallin. Starts throwing bolo punches, mocking Fury, who is shocked and unable to withstand the pressure, punishment and embarassment. Fury pulls a "no mas" and retires on his stool between the 10th and 11th round.

Scott, who has sparred both, feels that this heavier sitting down on his shots Fury of today who has abandoned his slickness in favour of a more aggressive approach aka Kronk Fury plays right into Usyk's strengths and that Usyk will beat him. He believes the Slick Gypsy defensive master Fury would cause him a lot more problems.

Wilder doesn't fight dirty unless you count his blatant rabbit punching and hitting opponents when they're down, which only really happens once he's got a guy hurt. Prior to that he almost always fights off the back foot using a pawing jab to set up his one two. That's elementary stuff that Usyk will read in his sleep. In terms of tools that he can use to hurt or open up Usyk to bigger punches Wilder is significantly more primitive than Joshua, who can at least tighten up his shots or alter their angles to sneak through an opponent's guard. The fight would be massively one sided in favour of the Feel Deal and I've thought that since Usyk's CW days.
