You push off your rear foot, when you move forward you don't step with your front foot, that leaves you off balance. When you move to your left your left foot shouldn't be doing anything other than landing where your right foot pushed it. This is elementary stuff Ylem, no wonder you can't stand up properly when you 'box'.
what is a step? when you pick up your foot. you push off your rear foot you step with your front foot. looks like you guys dont even know what step means...

yes you step with your front foot when you want to go forward. the guy did go forward with his right straight....but as he went forward his left foot stepped to the right his left foot should have stayed planted. though as it did move it should have moved to the left not the right.
You don't step you thick ****, you push with the opposite foot. If at anytime you're thinking step your balance and footwork is going to be terrible. No wonder in your videos you're always lifting your back foot off the ground.
the act of picking up your foot and putting it down is called stepping. you have to pick up your front foot in order for anything to happen when you push off with your back foot. you step with the front foot when you want to move forward. yes i have to pick up the back foot inorder to move backwards......and if you notice every time i pick up my back foot......im moving/stepping backwards....

This is so funny, how about you go join a gym and show us a sparring video ylem, youve never spard before and if you did you would get destroyed, fact you struggle to control range with a heavybag which tells you where its going, so dont tell me you can do this with an opponent that will trick you to go the wrong way... your **** footwork means you cant even keep in range with a heavybag without it nearly knocking you out. To say scrap has a current english titlist id say you might want to listen ylem rather than trying to learn boxing from youtube videos and ancient martial arts books, because until you change everything your doing your never going to get any faster, stronger or balanced no matter how many drills you do, heres somthing that will expose your footwork for you, get yourself on a line and on the left side try a double jab and a quick weave underneath the line to your right, then try the same finishing with a right hand or uppercut, then try it on the other side but weaving under to you left after the combination, then try this going under to the left but backwards and then under to the left but forwards etc, etc. if your balance is wrong doing this will take way too long to apply to a fight safely and i have no doubt you will be faster in some directions than others, this tells you your balance and footwork is flawed, the whole point in a stance and footwork is so that you can move in the larger variety of directions with the larger variety of punches and defencive manouvers, if the balance is correct aswell as foot placement you wont lose speed in certain directions, try the line drill and i bet after a double jab you lose speed weaving under to your right, this is because your on the front foot as you perform your jab, this is because when you punch your putting yourself off balance, this is because the punch mechanics are wrong and now its effecting movement.. it effects other things aswell..
Stepping is a series of controlled falls you moron.. gravity is whats getting you around nice and slowly, you lift the front foot and drop onto it with probably over 80% distribution and then you bring the back foot to re distribute to the back leg to be more balanced again, this is not how you move as a fighter because while your falling to the ground you could move straight into a punch you see coming and cant do anything about it, if you lift your front foot and push off the back foot to put your front where it is going (dont lift the foot and drop onto it, push it to where its going then lower the foot again) then your moving while maintaining balance.. which you will struggle like **** ylem because your posture is so bad it wont allow you to even walk properly.. seriously ylem you say we dont know **** about boxing and you dont even know how to walk properly, this shows us all that you have never been to a boxing gym, every boxing gym knows how to walk properly, even the shite ones :hey. this is so sad your just showing yourself up, maybe you should go study some better youtube videos and stay there, you dont belong here ylem.
Wheres your video or are you going to post videos of other people and expect me to take that as credit. I will post a sparring video when lefty posts his as agreed. i will show you respect when you show that you actually know something about boxing....with say 3 mins on the bag or shadow boxing. If your going to make claims like your going to put a video in your training log...you should have a training log and instead of pming me 4 paragraphs of excuses and posting some video of some guy whos not you and dosent post on this forum ducking under a rope an using elastic bands you should just avoid makeing false claims. your just full of **** man........ you are a fake. what is this supposed to prove? you can make up stories???? you said you would post 2 videos one of your self and one of some one you trained for 6 months. Dont worry about the videos ylem ill be putting some up when im back at the gym, and i look a hell of a lot ****ing sharper than you do and im not training for or planning on fighting lol, hell a guy ive trained 4 month looks sharper than you and ill prove it when we can all get together to film some stuff.. dont worry ylem your going to get everything thrown back in your face.. do what i said and work the line and then ill be able to show you where your footwork and balance is costing you in speed, ill be able to give you advice which will noticably speed up those directions, however its hard to show you much ylem because you dont know what your being shown your just making it up as you go along, and dont listen anyways, but if you do this line drill ill be able to show that i dont talk bollocks, its upto you to listen. im not arguing with you what walking is im telling you what walking is, go learn somthing about the human body. you sound stupid, walking is a series of controlled falls, argue with this and your arguing with any physics textbook, lol
what does walking have to do with anything? ohhh yeah thats right....im argueing with you who likes to take things that no one actually said but only sound like something some one said and argue against that point that you made up all on your own simply to stroke your own ego. i never claimed that you walk forward when you want to move forward only that you STEP with your front foot first to move forward. and even then your wrong......if i was putting 80% of my weight on my front foot i would bend over with every step i take. walking is even 50/50 maybe 60/40 at the moment you put your foot down.
