This strategy tends to give the allusion that a fighter is doing better than he actually is. For instance, if you watch Leonard-Hagler from Leonard's perspective you swear their was no controversy.

over here they usally show the good fights like 4 in the morning, and they dont have ppv so i have to find a link on the internet. Never been able to see one of the good fights live actually, they always close the link down just before the fight is about to start

Since the fights are on so late over here, I usually go straight from the club to a friends house where we all watch it.
I'll then re-watch and record the fight the next day.

Usually I judge a round based on which fighter gets hit in the face more than the other lol. But also on who seems to be controlling the action (when to fight and when not to fight) more than the other and who seems to be the "ring general" which goes into what I just mentioned about controlling the action. But yes..mostly who gets hit more and who seems to be hurt moreso..really depends

I only do that when I'm analyzing a particular fighter. When you score fights this way, while you do see all of said fighter's faults, you're also honing in more on his skills than his opponent's, which could give the illusion of the fighter being concentrated on being more effective, even if he's not.

This helps to focus better on both fighters, and just for analysis in general.

I can tell who won which round by how I feel about my favorite ater the bell rings. Even if your biased you know how you felt when that round ended
    Or
Which guy would you rather been that round

Thats how I do it . Then afterwards I watch it again from the other perspective. It helps to really analyze the fight and see what the loser should have done differently. Especially if you aren't familiar with thier particular style. Pac - Hatton was great for this. The first time I was too busy watching Hatton and we both never saw that punch coming! :bbb
