Ortiz beat Berto because Berto is ****, lets not forget the draw with Peterson just prior to beating Berto.

Peterson used his boxing skill to gain a draw after being down twice, Mayweather is 10x the boxer Peterson is....what is so intrigueing about this fight? I dont see it, the obvious outcome is Mayweather decision by a wide margin.

Lets not forget Berto was coming off a long layoff, mini retirement, should we say. Ortiz had maybe the best performance of his life, and Berto had a pretty horrible one. Anyways, I'm not a Berto fan , but that win for Ortiz is hardly convincing. I think we still have more doubts and questions than answers at this point.

    I thought Ortiz beat Peterson.

Peterson has a punchers chance, thats it.

    He won't beat Mayweather.

However, this is really just a tuneup fight.

Lamont lost that fight but it was hella close... a lot closer than it should have been. But to answer your questions Ortiz doesn't beat Floyd.....

2 things could be happening here....Floyd is looking at Vic as a stepping stone to finally step up to fight PAC or he's just in need of some positive attention and the only time he gets that is when he's doing what he does best....which is boxing. If that's the case we still don't see the mega fight we all want but at least Floyd's doing something positive and productive for himself, his family and the sport.

Ortiz KO's Peterson in two or three rounds at 147.

I have never seen more fickle fans in any sport then in boxing. Victor the coward suddenly becoming the warrior all in the course of 1 fight. People were too quick to dismiss him in the 1st place and too eager to put him on the pedestal after one good showing. But I digress, Victor has literally next to no chance against Floyd. **** fight IF NOT a tune up. And before the *****s swarm, Pac vs Mosley/Clottey were super ****.
