ok check this out. Mayweather most noteworthy opponent was a ringrusted De La Hoya . Now i am not taking away from his win because golden boy is always his threat however not very impressive , in my opinion. golden boy rarely fights anymore doesn,t stay in shape year round in order to still fight these huge fights. However that said with more recent activity i believe the outcome would have been different. Now on to pretty boy he beats Gatti, Judah,Baldomir,De LA HOYA ,sharmba mitchell, chop chop corley and he remains p4p#1 Now i am believing that most of these guys doing these ratings really like dancing with the stars better than a real fighter. One who bangs gets banged and whatever he needs to pull out the w against top fighters.I am not talking guys who don't mind an occasional loss. Let's start appreciating are true top competitors not just the ones who look cool when they do it.Why don't we reward these gladiators whose goal in the ring is to hurt their opponents . But instead we like these guys whose first concern is to not get hit. It's like their strategy is to stay away and if he's able to hit you run like hell jump forward throw one shot and get the hell outta there no combos no banging just speed .In my opinion find another sport and take these guys who rate you so high with them. This is the reason for losing fans not the talent. Its just that these type of guys get the major push

I knew you were an idiot when this part caught my eye. Hitting and getting hit doesn't make someone a top fighter. Your assertion that it does, is idiotic.

De La Hoya his only good win? I wouldnt call De La Hoya ring rusty, he had just crushed Mayorga. He has wins over champs like Baldomir,Gatti, Judah, Corrales, Castillo, etc. who hasn't he beat? and he takes tough fights like his upcoming bout against P4P top ten Hatton.

I know what your trying to say. Keep trying mate:lol:  Sure it's easy to question Mayweathers resume however he has ruined quite a few reputable fighters records in their primes(De la Hoya excluded)but I do think he needs to do abit more before retireing to solidify the legacy he claims he already has. Cheers mates:good

ok hatton is a challenge and de la hoya was to but since coming up from 130 he has not been p4p for me ok maybe it just wasn't him maybe it was lack of great fighters where he was at However right now the division is stacked so in order to be claimed p4p you have to at least be the top dog in your division and as of now i do not see that being the case

Because he's beaten plenty of title holders and champions. Plus he has won titles from 130 to 154.

You are obviously a well versed man. Just check out how you respond to people who don't agree with you. I am sure you come up with some sort of awesome jr high name to call me, but in advance: I don't give a ****. To respond to your entire ranting, ******ed post (if it doen't get deleted before I finish this) - I have a few points to make.
First off Mayweather has the nickname "pretty boy" for a reason. It's because as you pointed out he doesn't get hit very much (or flush for that matter). In the sport of boxing this is very hard to do; its called DEFENSE ***gasp***. What you are looking for is basically two football teams to line up and go at each other without defenses. The man wants to have some brain cells left after he retires (even though I admit he doesn't seem to have that many right now as it is). The reason he, and others like him, are ranked so high is because the p4p rankings are meant to rank the hardest boxers out there TO BEAT. Maybe their styles are not crowd pleasing but you have to admit that Mayweather is extremely hard to beat because of his defensive genius. If you don't like the rankings, or boxing for that matter whichit seems like you are bitching about, then go watch some ufc or wwf. Boxing is called "the sweet science" for a reason, and some people can't appreciate it because it requires some actual thinking and strategy instead of a gladiator in the coliseum aspect. But ask yourself this question: why should two fighters just stand in front of each other and trade bombs? Put yourself in their shoes; don't you want to move out of the way of the other guys punches instead of stand there and take them???
