So, Charlo is a slightly over hyped top super welterweight and Negron gave a fringe top 10 to 12 hw a tough fight, but is probably sub top 40 hw himself. About a 7 inch and 65 pound size difference though, and close to 40% of Charlos weight.

Watching both last night, it was just kind of interesting to think how a fight like that would go. I kinda think it would be similar to the Dominic Braezaele v Negron fight to some extent. With Charlo (playing the Negron role) starting strong and outboxing Negron (playing the Big Dom role) for long periods, but with Negron landing occasional shots that were alot more telling.

Eventually I think Charlo tires from the raw power and size of Negron, and Negron gets a mid to late round ko, despite being behind on the cards.

How do you see it? Is the size gap too large or is the skill gap too large? Interesting to think about how bad or good a HW has to be before you just assume he's going to be able to beat a top ranked fighter at a much lower weight.
