We can look at this as pre-exile Ali in the 90s and post-exile Ali in the 90s.

He would probably fight Lewis for the top spot, it would be hard to predict the winner...

    Undefeated.

Pretty much a reenactment of his 60s title reign.

Would be at the top of the heap. Probably would lose to Lewis at some point. 90-91 Mike Tyson gives him a great scrap. But Ali definitely beats post prison Tyson. I say he decisions Holyfield and Moorer. Bowe may give him a good scrap. Also, if Tua lands that left hook, watch out.

Bigger and better fighters in the 90s. If you thought Coopers left hook was hard, wait until you meet David Tua.

It depends. What year does he go pro?

If he’s in his prime I think he does well for most of the decade until he begins declining. I would make him the favorite to beat the best of that period

60s was a weak era 90s is arguably one of if not the strongest era

I think he could have held on to beat a few Coetzer-level opponents. Lewis might have been too much pushing 50 (but who knows?). I have often derided his decision to retire at the end of 1981. He still had a good decade left in him.

Of course he'd to great. Wouldn't be undefeated but he would beat post-prison Tyson, Mercer, Morrison, Seldon, McCall, Moorer, Bowe, and split with Lewis and maybe Evan Fields (Holy over Bowe because styles make fights) winning two of three.

He'd finish top of the heap one way or another.
