The dude doesn't deserve it. He's like the welterweight version of Chris Arreola. A guy who somehow mystically keeps getting title fights and clearly doesn't belong in the same ring against a champ.

Now he's gonna fight Danny Garcia for his belt. like wtf?

He is picked because he is a name and is not a threat. Berto has failed every single time he stepped up, he is a safe bet and he doesn't hit hard enough to have a puncher's chance.

Plus he looks great on posters, like a Silverback gorilla with massive muscular frame and hgh gut.

:huh That's natural from eating burgers man. HGH is what made Dana White look like a Stone Cold Steve Austin after spending most of his life looking like Seth Green.

Disagree with you he's a solid fighter his upper is one of the best in the welter 24ko out of 31 wins.

I don't know about that...lots of steroid junkies at my gym have that massive protruding stomach. It could be insulin as well as I was told.

Btw, Dana is on hgh and he doesn't try to hide it. If you can afford quality hgh under supervision of a doctor, you can literally tap into the stream of youth and vitality.

He was presented as one at some point and he certainly looks the part. Unfortunately, he just can't pull it all together and score a win against top notch opposition.

All you have to do is have kind of a known name and title shots will come your way even if you have lost several times. Look at Gabriel Rosado. Guys that really deserve it or are next in line for a title shot are either avoided or ignored, respectively.

Hurt yes. Unfortunately, you have to finish the job and Berto fails at that. Ortiz aside, Berto doesn't have any high class wins. I rated him highly after his Cillazo win but let's face it, he is not a threat at elite level. That's why may and swift picked him as an opponent.

No this is really obvious by Haymon and co. Danny is fighting the has beens of yester years 147 division.

    Malinaggi
    Guerrero
    Berto

Who's next? Collazo, Ortiz, Quintana, Lopez, Baldomir....

This makes Top Rank fighters look like beast by comparison. Crawford and Lomachencko my very well be able to tear through PBC if they all fighting B level and Has beens.

The only real guys at 147 over there are Thurman, Porter and Spence. Garcia and Broner are cannon fodder for old Floyd.
