How does anyone not understand that Usyk is going to do great at heavy?

There are two recognised HW champions of the world, Joshua and Fury, both of whom I gave a chance to beat Usyk.

Why the hell would he ever move back down to CW?

It’s going to be great for the division if he’s proven to being a serious threat. I’m just looking forward to seeing more fights from him before making a proper judgment.

Usually doesn't bode well when a guy waits until he's in his mid thirties to move up a division

He is seriously going to trouble the heavyweights

Usyk will simply be hampered by his age, injury problems and a very long career. He was 335-15 as an amateur, 6-0 in the WSB and 17-0 as a pro. He’s much older and has far more wear on the tyres than say Holyfield had. It’s a shame as he could well be the best of the current heavyweights.

Because he would realize that the HW Division is not the place where he belongs. Simple as that.

What about Hunter? Should he GTFO as well?

Maybe. Let's see. I have no problem with the guys from the CW Division who are trying to be the World Champ. in the biggest division but i am just a bit worried about those giant heavyweights who are ready to kick their ass.

Boxing is a dangerous sport. Let them worry about the risk.

Besides, what 'giant heavyweights' would be favoured to beat Usyk besides Fury and Joshua? I can't think of any. And is a guy six foot three and 215lbs such a midget, especially when he's so much more nimble and skilled than the rest of the division?

I think you're being unfairly dismissive to Usyk's chances before he's had a chance to prove himself. Usyk's been a giant slayer for a while now (check out his WSB fights) and has never once found himself physically overawed.

Jury's still out for me. It feels like they've been talking about Usyk at heavy for years now and he has only had one fight against an under prepared Witherspoon, and he didn't look too impressive in that fight when weighed against all the hype I've heard over the last little while. I feel this will be a 3 or 4 fight "career" at heavy. Beat a couple of chisora types on the way to a big payday with Joshua, lose of course and then bye bye. The way this guy is being hyped you'd think he was immortal or something..... hey wait a minute! Does anyone else think Usyk looks like the kurgan from Highlander?

I watched his fight against Witherspoon and Bellew and I can't see him beating bodybuilder and gypsy king. His performances are workman like, and professional, but nothing spectacular.

Your just as equally giving him credit before he's had a chance to prove himself. Winning the cruiserweight wbs 3 years ago means very little
