How does beating Collazo get you a shot at Floyd?

The sport has become a farce. Collazo is irrelevant in the welterweight division these days. Okay, he beat Ortiz recently but Ortiz is completely finished at world level, he's no longer a scalp.

Khan hasn't fought at Welter before, has been performing dreadfully lately, yet if he beats Collazo he gets a shot at Floyd? It's shocking really. What's worse is if Collazo breaks the glass of Khan he'll probably get the shot at Floyd.

Meanwhile Manny Pacquaio just beat unbeaten two weight world champion Tim Bradley but he's ''not good enough anymore'' to fight Floyd.

I'm no ******* by the way, I like Pacquaio and Mayweather nearly the same, in fact, I rather watching Floyd fight these days than Pacman. However, what us boxing fans let the fighters and promoters get away with id awful. It's a pity we love the sport so much because these fighters and promoters who feed us sub par fights while letting the potential great fights slip away don't deserve a fraction of the huge sums of money they make out of us.

Because beating Berto was good enough for two different guys. At this point it doesn't really matter who beats who to fight Mayweather, think Mayweather made that clear long ago.

How many years now has Mayweather been criticized for fighting Khan?

1st khan cant beat collazo and 2nd it want. khan would have to beat a porter or thurman to DESERVE the fight. we all know he want win those fights either, i cant see khan getting the fight without a word title.

High profile wins get you a shot at Floyd.

Mayweather only fight what GBP feeds him. And Mayweather has been running out of opponents so he has to fight either Collazo or Khan next. That's the main reason why Mayweather's resume is lacking even if he had 45 professional fights already.

it depends on who's your promoter and how much possible PPV sales would Floyd sell fighting you

Khan is a good opponent for Floyd. But having said that it's time he proves himself and I don't see a better challenge at this moment than Collazo. Yeah, some would say, Amir should fight Manny or Bradley or Porter or even Thurman but those guys are on the rise and rise and knocking on the door as well. Collazo is that sub par who will test Khan at this weigh class to fight Mayweather. You people don't have to cry out loud, if he happens to lose, then he never deserved a shot, if he happens to win, he still may lose a lopsided decision or a TKO against Floyd so what is the f***in problem?

Bull****...Mayweathers resume is better than Jmm and is on par or slightly better than Pacs, only pacquiao has 5 losses, 2 draws on record, while Floyd is undefeated and totally shut out a man who has Mannys number...

Collazo would be a good scalp for Khan. However, Porters recent run is more deserving than Khan, but Khan probably gets it on some of his less recent achievements.

Oh shut the **** up you boring ***** mother****er

Pacs win over Bradley > anything Floyd has done in years

Pacs win over Morales > anything Floyd has ever done

Cheery picking your way to an undefeated resume does not equal a good resume

    Pacs resume > Floyds

Fighter of the decade > Floyds failed bronze at the olympics
