Monzon wouldn't be able to dominate Hopkins. He may win, but Hopkins can make anyone look bad. I like Monzon, and he's clearly verys ound, tough, hard puncher, does all the basics very, very well, could be accused of being plodding but he's no sound it all works very well.....he's a great, no doubt. But Hopkins can make ANYONE look bad, as we all know. People will say, 'but he lost to Jermain Taylor, how is he going to beat Monzon'. On his A-Game, Hopkins gives Monzon all the stress he can handle before losing an SD. B-Hop protests, Monzon goes to prepare for the winner of Hagler-SRR!!!
Never saw Monzon fight. For those that did, what type of feet did he have? Was he a stationary fighter or did he have the feet to move in and out of spots? Or was he somewhere in between and like a regular MW in that department? How about his hand speed?
