Back in the WWE days, you'd have a point. Look at him then, and look at him now. Have you seen his workout routine and the food he eats? It's like a caveman's diet.
No placebo. This guy was a piece of **** and was fired years ago. Plus, some players had ill side effects.
The testing for PED's involves identification of a ratio between serum testosterone levels, coupled with an epi-testosterone molecule precursor of sorts. I believe an acceptable ratio for men is around 6:1. 3cc's of exogenous testosterone per week can raise the ratio to around 12:1, thus causing a positive/failing result HERE IS THE CATCH! If someone wants to BEAT the test one simply increases the level of epi-test precursor to maintain the ratio within acceptable limits. Once again it is the test/epi-test ratio that is scrutinized not the cumulative level of free testosterone in ones bloodstream. As long as the tests are not unannounced, they are incredidly easy to beat/circumvent.
Hes definitely not all natural.......................he is a fan favorite though and a Zuffa cash cow. With the amount of connections Zuffa has, I dont doubt that Brock is getting some helping hand in passing his tests.
Probably when he was in the WWE but I don't think he is now. And by probably, I mean more than likely.
Thats because idiots get caught. The ones that know what their doing know when to mask and when to cycle on and off.
If you look at his WWE frame, mid-noughties frame and his modern day frame then I think you can certainly he's gotten significantly smaller and less defined as time has gone on. That could be because his training has changed or because he was on gear and has now come of it. Is he on something now? No one can really say 'yes' unless he fails a test. His body fat doesn't seem abnormally low and he does legitmatelly work hard and have great genetics, so its possible that he's clean. I mean if you look at his proportions he's a naturally big guy - broad shoulders and back, etc - so its not like he's a small guy blown up. I also think for his sake he'd be advised not to do them as I think he would get far less sympathy than a Serk or Sonnen. Now there's two ways that a fighter could be taking and passing the test; and no they does not involve ****ing stupid conspiracy theories. Firstly they could just be on something that isn't tested, i.e. HGH. That's so expensive that only the richest fighters could afford that. Secondly and more likely, is that they're cycling. No athletic commission test out of competition (CSAC and NSAC both started doing so but have stopped due to budget cuts) so its simply a question of getting off whatever you're on in time for it to clear your body before the post-fight drugs test. Some fighters go to the extreme of buying testing kits and actually running experiments about how long it takes for substances to clear their system. This pretty much turns drugs testing into a farce - unless a fighter is stupid or something odd happens then its fairly easy to beat tests.
