Sure it does. Hearns definitely didn't want to fight him again.

The results would have been the same. Stewart knew that.

    It's HAWK Time!

Pryor would have walked thru those slaps and laid 50 real punchs to Calslappy's skull.

CalSlappy has never fighted a caliber of fighter like Hearns, SRL, or The Hawk.

At the same weight a CalSlappy-Pryor bout wouldn't even be very competitive.

    Pryor KO 5

And if Pryor moved to 168, Joe would kill him

Pryor wanted to move from 140 t0 147 to fight SRL. Why take a tune up first? After all, Duran moved from 135 to 147 to beat SRL. By your logic Duran should have fought a couple of tune-up fights before perhaps his greatest victory against SRL. Obviously he didn't need one.

that'll work..I respect Joe, but he and Joe fight totally differently...

If Calz wins impressively tonight, he'll be looked at in a totally different light.:good

If you want to force a fight against a champion then at least fight at the weight. Duran moved straight up and won the title because he was a 'name', but Pryor just sat at 140.
