Monzon vs Marvin Johnson Lightheavyweight 15 rounds?

Monzon vs Randy Turpin Middleweight 15 rounds?

Monzon vs Mathew sadd Muhammed Lightheavyweight 15 rounds?

Monzon vs Stanley Ketchel middleweight 15 rounds?

    Monzon loses to Saad Muhammad.

    Perhaps to Marvin Johnson also.

In my opinion, he beats Turpin and Ketchel.

As great a fighter as Monzon was, I feel that he was ideally suited for middleweight, so I don't really get into these matches that extend beyond the middleweight division. The weight divisions were set up for a purpose. Leon Spinks would have a great shot at upsetting Tommy Loughran, for example...as Leon upset Muhammad Ali, an old, out of shape Ali albeit, but against the smaller, natural lightheavy that Loughran was, Leon would probably be able to take him, through a size advantage alone...but what would that accomplish? Loughran, to anybody with a brain for boxing would acknowledge that Tommy was the superior fighter to Leon...that's the way it is conceerning Monzon...he was on the lean side as a middle, and I don't think he would bulk up satisfactorally enough to compete against the Marvin Johnsons, Billy Conns, Saad Muhammads, etc.,
Stanley Ketchel, and Randy Turpin he would defeat, IMO, but the weight division would be wrong for Monzon vs Johnson or Saad Muhammad, so what's the point?

It's the same thing regarding the myth matchup I see sometimes between Bob Foster and Marvin Hagler...an illogical pairing, IMO, as the distinct "division disadvantage" would be Hagler's burden...his handicap, in other words, against a bonafide great natural lightheavy in Bob Foster.
