I already did reply to you, do you want me to argue differing opinions that can't legitimately be proven or disproven depending on set viewpoint just because you decide to take things personally on here?
Yep, and i can f*cking prove it. I will go back through my posts, and pull my posts up that prove it. Your a liar. Don't try and get people to side with you by sprouting bullsh*t. I can do the same, and once i have proved you as a liar to the forum, i may just do that. Thanks for coming.
Here is the first thread for you.... Apparently I "promote" Diaz. Lets take a closer look. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45824
My thoughts on Juan Diaz before the Campbell fight was that he was an exciting fighter, who was thriving off a weak division, where blown up fighters would need to come up to face him.
You are taking everything way overboard, I'm not trying to get anyone of anybody's side, I come on here to talk boxing and have a laugh. In fact, I figured you were mostly on the side of logic, IE, the opposition to the general Ring magazine point of view with rating and recieving fighters.
Monzon was great a National hero In Argentina I would say that RJ would win in a 12 round decision and perhaps Toney but who knows when the fight is on the fighter comes out.
He is No.2 all time greatest Middleweight, he would beat Hagler, SRL, Jones jr etc Monzon was a monster who had a wicked right hand that would paralyze you! I only see SRR beating him...then again?
I'm pissed off because your post was designed to make things that i say look ridiculous. I rate Gamboa and Mijares very highly. You made your post to sounds as if i rate someone like Diaz as the best fighter in the sport. You took stuff totally out of context that i have said about Dawson. I think Dawson could very well be a p4p superstar. He needs to be proven first. As does Mijares. As does Gamboa. Currently Gamboa has fantastic potential, except of the three is the most untested. I think Adamek was a tougher opponent then Arce, and as such rank Dawson currently higher p4p then Mijares. Mijares has fantastic head and upper body movment, and fights extremely naturally. He is a special fighter. I just want to see him proven first. Let him fight Montiel, then i will jump on the bandwagon, especially if he is convincing (which i expect him to be). Gamboa looks fantastic due to his style, but i see flaws. Lets see him fight some top level strong fighters who can push him back and see how he adapts before we all proclaim him to be the next great fighter. People were comparing him to Roy already, which IMO is absurd. I LOVE watching Cotto fight, no question. He is my favourite fighter in boxing. I realise though, he doesn't have the abilities that guys like Dawson, Mijares and Gamboa have, and as such they could POTENTIALLY be greater fighters. At this point, he is far more tested though, and accordingly ranked higher. Overall, i had no problem with you what so ever prior to this thread. Tht post was patronising as f*ck though (fun to argue with, like i am a ****** that you take pity on), and the fact that you fabricated most of it is infuriating. If ANYONE on this board did that, i would respond the same way. Nothing further to say.
This argument cuts pretty deep when considering the different era's, training methods, equipment, lifestyle, level of opponents etc etc etc All I know, anyone who watches 20 Roys fights followed by as many for Monzon, should clearly be able to distinguish, that H2H, the clear strengths that Roy holds over Monzon. Sorry but I struggle to comprehend how people could not see this. And remind me not to ever **** MSTR off:yep
Last of all, i don't rate Monzon at all like others do. I have stated my opinion on him time and time again. I don't care if people want to ridicule me for it, i stand by what i have said. I will simply never post on a Monzon thread ever again, because instead of arguing there case, posters on this board reply in extremely arbitrary fashion "he would win". No analysis, no breakdown, nothing. Thats my opinion, if others think he would win, thats fine with me. Sweet Pea and others can role there eyes at my posts, i couldn't care less. Instead of choosing the "easy" way out, and going with popular opinion and saying Monzon beats all at middle etc etc, i actually choose to analyze the fights based on footage. Not many on here do (although i am sure Pea, Brooklyn yourself all do), most are content to just put him on a pedestal based on name alone.
Which is my exact arguement as well. I don't see how people who actually watch the footage can compare the two. I even posted a thread where i had footage of both fighters, and people would still blindly choose Monzon. Too many people on this site are just hesitant to go against popular opinion for fear of being ridiculed by the majority of others who stick together. PS, I have got a very bad temper... I'm not going to pretend i don't. Probably one of the reasons i first got into boxing
