He was ducked by Robinson, Lamotta, Conn, and Cerdan. He also beat Archie Moore, gave Ezzard Charles two tough fights, and once dominated a heavyweight who outweighed him by almost 70 pounds. Yet I rarely see him mentioned on rankings of welterweights and middleweights, or P4P lists. Personally, he's on the edge of my own top 20 P4P list.
