I rather the fighter I root for have an arrogance about them than humility ANY DAY.

It seems the majority of kings of their eras were arrogant. Duran compared himself to "god". Mike Tyson had his legendary rant about how his style is impetuous and his defense is impregnable. Muhammad Ali couldn't zip it for a second about how awesome he was. Floyd Mayweather believes he's greater than Sugar Ray Robinson and seems to be the only one who does, even his uncle doesn't. Jack Johnson was a boss. Someone must be overly confident in their abilities to play with opponents like Pernell did.

Joe Louis is one of the few humble ones, but everyone knows he was a trained and restrained specimen due to the circumstances surrounding his time.
