    This.

I do know that for example at all levels, starting from small hall shows, psychological factors too are playing role.
Fighter A is advertised in this city as promising and good up coming guy and there some not enough advertised opponent is in the ring with him.
Btw, sometimes to get more money even in small shows more competitive fights are put on and to get better sales they tell about opponent and his achievements, then approach might be more fair.

Next thing: everyone in the game does know who there is tickets seller.
    Yeah, small hall shows too.
Interesting, if it is not very large city, like cities <1 000 000 inhabitants, guys and their handlers not rare cases knows refs habits and how one judge score or other judge.

If guy does knows: ref A allows excessive holding but penalise rabbit punches and low blows, ref B doesn't like holding and clinches but might overlook rabbit punches etc.
Guy might tailor his game bearing in mind who there is ref. 0 illegal things, just they does knows the game in this city.
Then there are judges who does value ring generalship more, some more are scoring landed punches. Some judges does have habit overlook close range punches. If you have such judge, better do long range in - out work, throw easily observable punches even if they are just long range jabs.

Small hall fighting in not large city is stuff where if you know these things about them is advantage for lad who does knows this.

Judges also doesn't have so good angles to watch fight.
In modern era I think cool idea might be install cameras on top and in corners, like f.e at least 2-4 cameras who are looking from the roof and 4 -6 from sides of the ring and put these images on monitors in front of judge.
So judge might see this more like in TV broadcasting and also from angles.

It is not easy to score fight, yeah.

You know how easy it is to send someone some bitcoin?

BJS needed a knockout to win at the point the fight was stopped. Did it seem like that was how the "competitive, highly contested" fight was going? Were you once again shocked that commenters and general unbiased public were very much at odds with the judges scoring for Canelo?

Canelo wins any round his opponent doesn't DOMINATE. That's what it is, plain and simple.
