So many of you love talking about it, even coming off a brutal and dominating loss hasn't change any of your minds.

I'm intrigued as to how he beats him.

In the first fight Cro was basically neutralised, taken down and kept there. When they stood he was passive, wary and defensive. Is his whole chance based around hurting Fedor? Something Fedor has shown is no fluke and that he can survive being hurt and find the answer.

Get rid of the stand up and reset bull**** plus allow Fedor to use elbows (as he would in the UFC) and what do you expect?

So what is the gameplan? What is Cro going to do to walk away with the W? What are his chances? 60-40?

    He doesn't.

He has a punchers cha........kickers chance and thats it. One kick to Fed's cranium and its over. Although saying that and doing it is something entirely different.

If the fight takes place in a cage (which we're presuming it will) Fedor dominates more as there are a lot less standups in the UFC than there were in PRIDE. In the UFC the refs are alot more lenient with grappling add in that Fedor will be allowed to use elbows then it would be tough for CC to beat Fedor.

Fedor will most likely adopt the same strategy, circle to his left (Mirko's right) and press the action, never allow CC to set his feet so he can start launching those devastaing kicks. The perfect stratagey to employ against a kickboxer.
And so long as Fedor doesn't brake his hand as he did in the first fight, he will be able to attempt far more submissions on the ground which he couldn't do in their first fight.

I am telling you, CC is good but too one dimensional to beat Fedor. To beat Fedor you have to be well rounded in both grappling and have a strong standup............Gabriel Gonzaga is the man to do it!!

To beat Fedor, you need speed and Cro ain't got it.
He's got calcium deposits on most of his joints, so sparring is out.
What he needs to call upon is BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA!
Now he best start making some hurting bombs!!

He lands the left hand that broke Fedors nose about 4 inches lower. People forget Crocop won the first 10 min of that fight, and had Fedor hurt for a little bit; its a testament to Fedor, but it also means CroCop has his chances.

    Errr.....no.
He won about 10 seconds of that fight when he hit Fedor with two lefts and skiffed his head with a kick.
Fedor dominated the first round with the exception of that little engagement.

Just in case you forget, heres the fight in full:

as you can see, fedor dominates the stand up and dominates on the ground. he clearly won the first round. It's not even debatable.

Fedor did not dominate the standup at all in the first round, the later rounds yes, but in the first round CroCop landed the more meaningful shots, breaking Fedors nose and putting him on ***** street. Fedor got his shots in too, but CroCop got the better of the standup that round, and had one of the high kicks connected, it might have been curtains.

Fedor took the fight over once it hit the ground around the 6 minute mark for sure, so I guess you can score the round for him, but my point remains, he got pretty close to getting knocked out, and it isn't unreasonable to think that next time CroCop might get it done.

Fedor won the first round. and the 2nd. and the 3rd.

The only time CC got in any meanigful punches was that little engagement during the 4th minute.

Apart from that, CC ran away from Fedor like a mouse. I'm surprised he didn't get a yellow card for refusing to fight, Fedor had to chase him all over the ring.
The more and more you watch that fight the more one sided it seems.
It really was a domination. 10 seconds does not make a fight.

You could tell CC was scared of Fedors power, if not he would have been more aggressive,

With CroCop, 1 second can make the fight, thats the point I'm driving at, if you take off the hero blinders, you would see that CroCop has a shot at KOing Fedor, and he came close to doing it. Or you can continue to think of Fedor as something beyond human and discrediting everything anyone has ever done against him or ever will.

If you read my first post in this thread you would see thats exactly the very first thing i said.
    I'm not disputing that.
I'm disputing with you that Crocop won the first ten minutes of their fight, when he clearly didn't by any stretch of the imagination apart from about 5 seconds added up.

I even posted the fight for everyone to see, I ask anyone to watch it and see if you come to the conclusion that crocop won the first 10 minutes.
Beebs you are one of the few people on the planet who thinks that.
You don't happen to think Nog vs Fedor 3 was close as well, do you?

That is what was said in the Rocky film. I couldn't be ****ed to play about with it for it to make 100% sense.

Cro also doesn't have calcium deposits on his joints and he will be sparring and he won't rely on BFT.

So ultimately none of it makes sense.

The essence of it - Cro can't win so he needs some Rocky type **** to help him.

So Cro breaks Fedors nose AND Fedor breaks his hands AND Fedor will use elbows in the UFC and someone thinks Cro is going to win the rematch?

The premise of the thread is how he does it, not asking if we would pick him to do it. Whats the point in asking a question you already know the answer to?

Although you do bring up a good point about Fedor's hand, if this time off is good for anything, hopefully his hand will be properly healed by the time he fights next.

As I mention in the post, it is mainly for those who think he CAN do it.

I obviously don't know the answer but I am intrigued as to how and why people think as they do.

Fedor pretty much won it all outside of that one punch. Now people say he broke his nose and his hand and he still won that clearly! Makes one think.

I think Fedor being allow to use elbows will make a significant impact on the fight.
