other lightweight champions like Williams,Arguello,Duran,and Rosario? Can Oscar bang like the greats at lightweight?
I would have to say yes. He did not fight a lot of great competition there, but he faced some decent junior lightweights at that weight. Some of those guys made him seem like a Gerald McClellan type hitter. I'm joking, but the comparison is because I think Oscar was doing some cutting to get that division. He seemed a lot bigger than those guys.
