How does Floyd fair against Pac by looking at Floyd's last fight?

    By witnessing Floyd's perfromance against Ortiz, what will be Pac's chance of winning if they ever fight next year. Can Pac be able to break that great defense of Floyd?

    With a good game plan, he can beat FMJ. I used to think that the only way Pac could beat Floyd would be to force him to be overly defensive, and not mount enough of an offense to win rounds...

    ...after seeing what happened Saturday, I think Mayweather would get popped quite a few times by Pac, and HE is the one who might need the perfect gameplan. Ortiz hit FMJ quite a few times. It wasn't quite the complete wipeout that people are making it out to be.

    Mayweather by knockout. While I'm pretty sure Pacquiao won't get caught with his hands down. Mayweather is just going to pick him apart. I really don't understand why so many people think Pacquiao will even be competive.

    Floyd really was so slick and fast enough to avoid Ortiz's punches. But what I notice from Ortiz was he's not jabbing. Ortiz tried to swarm Floyd on the 4th round where I thought it was effective against Floyd until that intentional headbutt. Floyd was very good at that razor sharp right hand straight. A great jab which can put Pac into distance. But Pac will be going in for a combo and will be willing to get hit as well.

    Can Floyd be able to take Pac's punches when it connects?
    Can Floyd be able to counter Pac's 5-7 combo?
    How long can Pac be able to keep his punches coming in volume before he gets tired?
    Can Floyd be able to connects just enough to win every round?

    Rewatch Mayweather-De La Hoya. Unlike Oscar, Pac won't gas after 8 rounds. Pac will finish what Oscar couldn't. And he'll do it with faster punches from angles Floyd has never had to deal with and with better footwork. Sure Pac will eat Floyd's jabs just like he ate Margarito's, Cotto's, Mosley's best power shots.

    Just saw the fight live and watching it on reply.I can see why Floyd doesn't want any piece of Manny.He will have to do

    things he never had to do in his life.FIGHT adversity he will get rocked around by Pacquiao no doubt about it.Pacquiao will

    have this kid running for sure.

    I aggree with you on this. Also, I'm thinking that Pac's left straight to the head like he did to dela Hoya will be effective against Floyd's defense but it is vulnerable to Floyd's counter right hook.

    Have some of you actually watched all of FMJ fights? He's dealt with damn near every style of fighter, Pacquiao, despite what you might think, is not completely unique and FMJ has fought fast, angle taking, flurrying fighters. ODLH was 154 and taller than Pac, smaller man can't bully bigger man into ropes. And ODLH was getting MURDERED in the middle of the ring..

    the key to beating floyd is to find a way through the shoulder roll defense.

    it looked like victor was connecting with his flurries against the ropes but watch again in slow mo and floyd wasnt hit

    im sure roach will have a gameplan for this and as long as manny listens and doesnt get frustrated i believe he can beat floyd
