If Fury showed up in shape that would greatly help him.

Who'd Fury spar with on the daily coming up?

He boxes very nicely, but it would be years of tourturous work to accomplish beating Usyk.

Usyk threw daily with world class boxers, that's the difference.

Fury could drop some weight and Usyk would still beat him. Usyks seen it all, many times over.

Fury won the title and that is highly commendable, but his over all experience is just too far behind Usyks experience.

So this is on just before chrimbo be interesting to see if fury has figured him out like other rematches and the same the other way. Although I've never seen usyk do many rematches beterbiev in the amateurs, the Joshua fight which he didn't change much. One thing's for sure cannot be slowing down after six rounds again.

    Roll on December.

It’s scheduled for December. It remains to be seen if it actually happens in December…

Ultimately barring the torrid round 9 he didn't do too badly, and I think Fury can find enough solace in his performance to convince himself he can win the rematch. If Fury comes in heavy and tries to maul Usyk then I think he will be KO'd; however if he lives the life for the next few months, and comes in at peak shape, then it's not impossible he can sustain the effort that saw him win the middle rounds for long enough to win the rematch.

IMO, Fury as successful as he's been doesn't really know what kind of fighter he wants to be. 1st Wilder fight he was doing the Ali -showboat I'm a slickster type of fighter. Then when he got the draw he gained 20+ lbs and threw away the fancy showboat routine, hired Kronk gym and wanted to become a banger & go for KO's. He followed that up again with the 2nd Wilder fight.

I'll leave out the lesser opponent fights for breakdown b/c ultimately I do think he can get lazy & not train when he thinks it's a gimme (Angonou anyone?).

Fast forward Usyk and all of a sudden he's a dancer slickster again. I felt like he was just in between styles in this fight and didn't really sell out to one strategy, hence having no strategy. Sometimes he show boated, then all of a sudden throws a great upper cut but then instead of following up he decides to admire his work & then he's showboating again.

I feel if Fury goes into the 2nd fight deciding he wants to maul Usyk and sticks with being on the from foot he'll likely win the fight. I'm not sure his legs will even play a role. But who knows, Fury iis a tough one to figure out.

To be fair, it was a close enough fight until he got hurt. I think get in better shape, go out at the start of each bell with the mentality of winning the round. And don’t have his dad in the corner.

I think Usyk will need an off night. Fury fought well but it wasnt enough. Just look at the shape Fury was in. There is always the possibility of being caught with a cracking punch and not being able to recover or sustaining an injury, but all fights carry those risks regardless of opponent. Usyk is a class act, and a master craftsman. Tyson is an awesome fighter too. I do not think Fury can change a lot. I am not sure if Fury could be any better. I think Usyk will be one step ahead and predict a similar result or maybe a touch wider for Usyk.

I love when the passive voice is used. like as though a chair was thrown into the ring and hit Fury in the face, nothing to do with what Usyk did

I think Usyk is a better fighter. Simple as that.

But it wasn’t like he won every round and it was totally one sided. So there are moments Fury can look back on and take in to the next fight
