The biggest problem for Hatton in this fight is that he doesn't work to the inside off of a good jab. He either takes a little punishment to get in the inside or Leaps in with a left hook. It works well against fighters that are good boxer, but will remain stationary. However, PBF will not sit in the pocket and allow Hatton to play the grapling game.

Floyd will continue to hit and move and hit and move. How long can Hatton continue to take the punishment?

I don't think that anyone can beat floyd with aggression alone. It has to be with a combination of agression and timing, and the boxer has to be top notch in both. You have to be able to read what he's going to do, and be quick enough to get the shots off before he does.

DLH had the right idea. He jabbed his way in, but when trying to time him in the middle of the ring, he just couldn't get shots off as quck as Floyd, and could only be on the defense.

I like Floyd by Wide UD or stoppage, but who knows, maybe hatton gets in a big leaping left that can definitely change a fight around.

he already stated for PBF and that lineal title he would. his trainer even stated that Floyd is a small welter so it wouldn't be a problem.

how is hatton the bigger man ?!?! Floyd shoulder and back are vary wide for his size and his leg are thicker Hatton's .
anyone that saw the Gatti fight had to be shocked at the size difference between Gattie and Floyd with Floyd appearing to be the bigger man , even though Gatti out weighed him by at least by 10 pound .. Floyd size and strength is deceiving because he like to box.

Exactly. And Hatton even fought a couple of times above 140 as an amateur.

pbf likes to back up, constantly, so he will eventually either run into the ropes, or be standing infront of Hatton, obviously he can side step, and that will have success a lot of the time, but every time Hatton catches on the ropes or he stands to trade, he will take body shots, and eventually they will start getting past his elbows and he will feel the pain,
so, even if it turned out close to a shutout, it would HARDLY be an easy fight for floyd, and I predict scores as close as his match with DLH

so did oscar so what are you saying Hatton is bigger then him also ,but anyway weight alone does not make you the smaller or bigger man, bone structure does..

Floyd has a larger lanky frame that allowed him to fight at 130 and finally at 147 and he is able to carry this weight effectively while maintaining his speed and most of his strength .

How? By roughing him up (or at least attempting to)

Hatton will need to do all of the following if he wants to beat Mayweather
    1. Come in unbelievable shape
    2. Cut the ring off
    3. Throw the jab and move his head when trying to get inside
    4. Go to the body
    5. Make it a dirty fight
    6. Throw lots of punches and be way more active than Mayweather

I don't think the weight class will matter much at all. I see Floyd winning at 147 or 40. However, I don't think it will be a walk in the park for Floyd. He's going to have to work each round cuz Hatton will definitely continue to come at him.

He's going to try to fight the way he fought Zoo, but unlick Zoo, Floyd can fight on he back foot and has much bettr movement.
