Hatton uses his shorter frame, and shorter arms to his advantage. That is how he overcomes reach advantages. He makes people's height and reach become a disadvantage to them by his inside fighting, and angles that he gives.

Arrange for Floyd to take a Manchester pub crawl on fight night.

if they fight is at 147 it will be much easier, but at 140 Hatton might win.

If Hatton can make KT quite (retire) and KO JLC then the loical fight for the FANS is Hatton v. PBF!! That's what we want=that's what we will pay for!!

To end this debacle of a debate. There is nothing Hatton can do. ODH punches twice as hard and more crisp then Hatton. And ODH has a great jab. Hatton cant do anything to get close to Floyd but tackle him LOOK how fast floyd is at backing up and fighting off of the back foot. You guys look at how hatton grabs come forward guys like urango and castillo who constantly come forward and think it will be that easy to get in on floyd. Hatton can take 1 floyd punch yes he cant take the punishment he is going to get coming in on floyd with no defense and no jab. Without one or the other he is target practice. And who says floyd is going to head hunt floyd's jab to the body is better then his up top jab and his str8 right to the body took Sharmba out of there. Hatton cant take body shots at all. He has no answer with his style. He aint even good at in-fighting he clinches and punches on the break and leaps with his left hook. No way floyd would counter that crap.

I've only ever seen Hatton even slightly troubled by Tszyu and Southpaws,Mayweather is neither so I am betting on Hatton to win unless Mayweathers corner try to get involved or a Vegas robbery which is quite possible

Good question. i honestly wouldn't know. I think maybe it favours floyd but I can see advantages for both figthers having both kind of gloves. Becuase Probably the biggest thing though would be floyds brittle hands would be less likely to brake with 10oz gloves.

Hatton will have the weight advantage though; Floyd is a natural 135 lber, Hatton a career 140 lber (though both have fought above 140).

NO one said he was a limited fighter but he is over-rated,America as a sports watching nation is very very suseptible to hype and flashyness above substance. If you look at his recent bouts he has struggled against both Judah early and DeLaHoya early, the latter was winning after the first 8 rds and lost because he gassed. If you have this image of Mayweather dancing around like he did with Baldomir or pounding a defenceless Gatti I'm afraid the fight against Hatton will not go down like that.Mayweather will have to expend far far more energy to even compete with Hatton than he has against any fight he has had in the last 4 years. The question should not be 'how does Hatton overcome height and reach disadvantage?' but 'how will Mayweather cope with 12 rds of pressure and not having any room to fight?'.Mayweather will only look good if Hatton gasses otherwise it will be a scrapy fight
