And just how did you work that out? :patsch

Was it his massive 67% KO ratio that convinced you, or must it be because he knocked out the ironed chinned Wlad Klit? :rofl

I dont think there is much in it between them in power terms but I would give Sanders the nod at moment at least till July 2nd anyway when we will see if Haye can land and what effect his punches have although Haye will be fighting a better version of WK defencively at least.I just saw Sanders against Sprott (its on a quickest heavyweight knockouts video on utube, never knew they even fought!) Sprott seemed to take straight fast punches on his guard but he just crumbled on the ropes in 1 round.Dont think Haye will be a fast starter like Sanders though.

credit that to es. he knew that he could turn wk into what he is today. the haye fight will be the exclamation point. i

a prime brewster and sanders would beat haye.

so would byrd, peter and mercer.

the second byrd fight was interesting because byrd actually looked at the commentators during a round and told them point-blank that this was when he was going to "walk down" wk. what he didn't understand was that this was an entirely different wk that he faced in the first fight some six years ago. he then proceeded to get the **** systematically kicked out of him.

and this was a prime chris byrd coming off recent wins of oquendo, tua and holyfield.

the wk fight essentially ruined a prime chris byrd.

Sanders is one of the most overrated fighters. He couldn't KO Glass Jaw Rahman and had a pretty low KO% however the Klit fans will tell you he is one of the hardest punchers ever.:rofl:patsch

another idiot esb poster that can't read between the lines.

sanders had many things going on in his life and at times he never took boxing seriously. he is supposedly a one-handicapper that quit boxing in an attempt to play professionally. the majority if not almost all his distance fights took place early in his career, when he either did not have the technique or the desire.

his last 20 fights ended up with either him being ko'd or him ko'ing.

hasim rahman has stated that sanders is the hardest hitter that he has ever faced before.

maybe you should do more listening than talking and putting those idiot smiley faces on your posts. and yes, him getting ko'd attributes to his 67 percent ko ratio. just because you get ko'd does not mean you don't have ko power.

next time think before you mouth off.

He doesn't compare, he is a different animal altogether from both of them as a fighter, Wlad wont know what has hit him.

Do you know how many boxers say that about a guy who DIDN'T KO them?:patsch

It's an ego boost for themselves. They are trying to say that the other fighters only KOd them by getting lucky.

show me one example or a quote to back up your rebuttal. anything since you are so sure of yourself with the smiley face and all. seriously, anyone from any era. surely you can find one as you insinuate that there are many. you're new here so please make a good showing for yourself as you dont want to be embarrased. I'm not asking for "many," I am only asking for one.

also, ernie shavers, who is universally thought of as the hardest puncher in his era, has a 76% ko ratio.

remember, i'm only asking for one example of your "many."

    Alien-

I will give you two examples of a fighter praising anothers power/proficiency after a subsequent winning ko

tyson said ruddock punched like a mule kick and phil baroni said that dave menne was the toughest guy he ever fought after ko'ing him.

now tyson was sincere but baroni was absolutley, positively full of ****.

with that being said, neither winning fighter after their subsequent ko's said that they were the "hardest they have even been hit before." and i can think of no others of the over 400+ fights i have seen

Are you Bailey? because he's the only one here i see using those ****ing smiley faces little girls always use.

Dude honestly just stop. I'm starting to feel embarrassed for you. It doesn't take a genius to know that Sanders was one of if not the most powerful lefties in history. Never mind his KO ratio ...just look at the impact of his punches and the way his opponents reacted to them. Lennox Lewis KO ratio wasn't that great but it's a safe bet he hit pretty hard right?

lennox lewis had a 72 percent ko ratio and tyson had a 75 percent ko ratio.

these guys are almost as bad as sanders

don't be fooled. ko ratio's mean everything.

Worked a lot actually. At the end of the day Sanders knew his strength was his power. He was smart and precise, for 2 or 3 rounds he would severely test anyone. Not sure Haye has the physical attributes to follow his style completely but being aggresive early won't hurt.
