How does Haye fair against Wladimir past opponents since his domination at the top?

The Brewster that fought Golota would decapitate Haye.

Exactly. People who think Haye would blow away all other HWs outside of the K brothers should take time explaining two problems with their theory:

    1. Why has Haye carefully hand-selected guys with diminishing reflexes and hand-speed in his HW campaign? Why was the average age of his last 4 opponents approx. 37.5 years old?
    2. How does Haye who was in trouble against guys like Mock, Fragomeni and Mormeck .. all lesser (and lighter!) fighters than guys like Byrd, Peter, Chagaev or Ibragimov ... walk through the a series of young and hungry HW contenders without delivering any proof he can?

I'd favor Haye against most other HW contenders, but if he'd fight a series of 10 average HWs them he'd probably lose two fights.

Why on earth do people think Haye is carefully planning his retirement, trying to cash out before he's handed an embarrassing loss? He knows very well his chin isn't built to last at HW.

Peter's seen as something of a fat joke now but the Peter Wlad beat in 2005 was a dangerous young lion.Knockout puncher with decent speed, many had him the favorite over Klit in that fight. No doubt in my mind that version of Peter turns Haye's lights out.

No Wladimir is fighting a good fighter. There is no doubting that! But Haye isn't as good as he or his supporters make him out to be. Like he's the next ****ing Tyson or something. The dude has a glass chin that's BEGGING to get cracked to pieces. His endurance is also not very good ...almost gassed against Ruiz. Wlad will win this and in brutal fashion :dead

Well, except for having almost no defense against a good straight right.

    Peter 1 causes trouble
Byrd causes big trouble, Haye would lose two decisions to Byrd 1 and 2
Ibragimov would be a toss up
Chageav would be a hard one
Thompson would beat Haye on points.

I believe that haye as an boxer is unproven because his record is not so long and packed with good names he has a record of around 20-25 fights he has Valuev and Ruiz as the biggest names on his record and he didnt beat Valuev in a good fashion either

It's hard to judge Haye since he moved up to the HW.

It is true that his opponents were carefully selected and he just wasn't pushed to his limits in those fights. It's the question mark over Haye's head that makes this fight so interesting.

if you're talking when they faced wlad; peter 1 is the only guy i'd give a chance gainst haye.

chagaev of 2006 is a close fight; the chagaev that lost to wlad gets blown away by haye. late 90's byrd beats haye; 2006 byrd gets stopped late. thompson now could be a decent match up for haye; the thompson that faced wlad would have no chance. rahamn of 2000 is a good fight & i'd take rahman by ko; rahman of 2008? haye has that in the bag...

    & so on.

ibragimov never beats haye imo. that fight is all wrong for him. & anyone who said eddie chambers beats haye is ******ed btw.
