Danny Williams can bang mate. But Williams also said Haye punches like he has got bricks in his fists - cos they sparred loads. However Audley claims Haye never hurt him once in all the times they sparred.
I think he is a bigger puncher, but by how much? Williams and Sprott are both bigger men. I agree with a post I saw in another thread that Sprott landed some meaty shots in the second fight and Audley didn't go anywhere, so maybe the assumption that a lot of people have that as soon as Haye lands it is over is wrong.
Didnt Sprott cacth him with a punch he didnt see coming ? They are the worst ones - cos they take you be surprise.
i wouldn't be surprised if the fight is stopped because audley isn't doing nothing. the thing with audley is when he's put on pressure all he does is cover up, and if he does that too much against haye, then the fights going to be stopped because the accuracy of haye mixed with speed and power is just too good. regarding the power, it's impossible to say how much harder haye punches than the likes of williams and sprott unless you've fought all three. i would say the speed is what is going to cause audley problems, and the power is just the icing on the cake. i don't think it's going to be competitive.
Exactly, and the ones you don't see coming are the fast ones, especially on the counter. So when Haye slips the left hand cross and fires his right, it will be quicker than anything Harrison has ever faced and with as much power as someone like Williams but greater speed and thus greater effect.
Audley would say that, but Haye i think has alot more power than both of them but Williams can pack a punch G
Personally haye is a bigger puncher than them he has devastating power I think if he lands a big flush shot fraudly will b finished
Haye can certainly punch, but he is just as vulnerable. I've seen Audley and thought he's rubbish, what's he doing, then all of a sudden he lands a world class left hand and stuns or drops opponents. If Haye is too pumped up and aggressive he could run onto something. To me, Harrison should jab, sit behind the jab and look to land a good counter in the first few rounds, if Haye is catching him, then it's do or die, he has to trade and hope he lands a bingo shot. Will Haye show any respect, will it be a cautious start? Or will it be a blowout? I'm thinking Audley will be a little better than expected.
I don't think he punches harder than Danny Williams, and not much harder than Michael Sport. Danny Williams had very fast hand speed, David Haye is not much faster.........but overall, total body speed. David Haye have better agility and movement which makes him look even faster. He HITS with more speed, hits guys with shot they don't anticipate. By no means is David Haye up their with Mike Tyson or Lennox Lewis, or any other past hard hitting heavyweight. "David Haye built his punching record up, by knocking out 14stone fighters, this is the heavyweight division" I know Audley Harrison is going to take punches in this fight, and unlike other people. I think Audley Harrison will and can take David Haye's shots, and still being able to fight back..........i think Audley Harrison will have the ability to keep his gloves up, hold David Haye and rough him out. "This will take its toil on David Haye" Audley Harrison stated, "I'm not getting hit by David Haye and not hitting him back"........now if he can deliver on this statement. This fights going to be very very interesting, because lets face it. When you are getting hit back at 250 pound, weather it be a Jab, ot the odd Body shot...........this will change the whole fight. I think Audley Harrison will lose rounds, but i think he will also be landing punches. And i just think even though he will be losing rounds, physically the fight as it goes on and on, will be taking allot more out of David Haye. Than it will be with Audley Harrison, the type of fighter David Haye is now at heavyweight, even if he's not getting HIT......he's still ****ed at the end of rounds. :Might i just add a Prime Danny Williams is the most talented Heavyweight since Lennox Lewis, and would spark David Haye, in terms of ability i hold Danny Williams in higher regard than Audley Harrison's.
