In dependence of the Real Deal using his brave-less agility and boxing skills, I can see the smaller fearless fighter eventually surviving the first 5-6 lost rounds to make it very close in the end. Then again, after watching two rounds of the Foreman-Norton-Massacre, I see Evander in pain, coming back to his corner asking: "Did he knock all my teeth out?"
Holyfield would just spit out those loose teeth, bang his gloves together and throw himself right back in there.. Holyfield was basically mad!
Yep, he had that going for him, and his chin and the Holyfield bounce could get him th win here. It's a big ask tho against a man like Foreman tho.
I think the prime George Foreman, 1973 edition would stop Evander The Real Deal Holyfield by kayo in round 5. Evander already beat the 1991 edition of George, so no matter how old he was, we already found out. Holyfield is no Jimmy Young, and would stick out his chest to the young Foreman, he would suffer the same fate as Joe Frazier and Ken Norton. The 1973 George swarmed all over his opponents not letting them breath, literally suffocating them in the ring with his array of punches.
Spot on .. I'd add if Evander fights smart, boxes and keeps his head he has the skill and chin to possibly win .. the best Foreman I ever saw was Frazier 2 .. he was disciplined, focused and kept his cool .. that George would be a very tough fight regardless as Evander did get hit and that Foreman was a focused beast.
That is one way to look at it. On the other hand I think older George, though he was close to getting stopped had more durability than 70s Foreman. Prime George may not need it but If Evander can land 50% of the punches he did in 1991 I think he can stop George.
I’d pick Evander to stop him late or win on points. He had th e heart, chin, stamina and conditioning to outlast George’s early onslaughts and better boxing skills to Outland him. If it came down to a fire fight Evander was one of the few who could match him blow for blow
Holyfield by KO or UD. Better skills, more heart, and more stamina. I think he would outwork him also. I think Young George is still as predictable as Old George. Holyfield would be smart enough to drag him into the late rounds and put on a beating.
