Please Hopkins will think he wins every fight he doesn't get knocked out in and when was the last time you saw a boxer that really HURT Hopkins or knocked him out?? In that case unless you knock Hopkins out he will always think that he won the fight

1,2,4,6,8, definitely with 3 and 7 going either way. Say you gave Hopkins 1,2,3,4,6 and 8 (which is completely plausible) and you have him the victor at 114-113 (due to the knockdown). Also round 12 was basically a swing round as well with neither guy doing really anything, though obviously Calzaghe was more "active" with slaps so you can give it to him.

I can see Calzaghe winning 7-5 at best, just like I can see Hopkins winning 7-5, difference being Hopkins landed the telling blows of the entire fight, as he did with Taylor. I take issue with winning fights, especially taking the belt (in this case Ring belt) by general ineffective activity punches that cause no damage.

I don't have a problem with Calzaghe getting the decision in a close fight, but with comments saying it was a clear victory for Calzaghe (which it most certainly was not) or saying there was no way Hopkins won (which he did in my eyes along with the majority of press row at the fight).

Comfortable Joe win, by about 3 or so points. Im amused by Hopkins thinking that performance from him was a winning one. How many fights has he had???

first six round, Joe won the 4th, but was down a point. and so that was 6 rounds there for Hopkins....after that Cal won IMO 5 out of 6....
So I had it one point up for Hopkins.
