As Frochy defends his title in his first fight of a tournemant thats got the boxing world buzzing, good ol' Joe will be taking on some ex-soapstars in a dance competition.
Even if he's getting his wicked welsh way with blondie(or not .ed) it has still gotta stick in his craw................

Generally I don't think he'd have given a ****, but you raise a point with that dancing thing.
    It's a bit ridiculous.

Gotta agree, he's retired and had a great career.

Now he's making a shitload of money, banging his hot danceing partner, and is on primetime BBC1 every Saturday night.

    What could be better?:D

Never was a Joe fan. However, gotta give him respect for stepping waaaaay out of his comfort zone to do this ridiculous dancing thing. Not my cup of tea this reality tv ****, but hey, he's trying. He just needs to loosen up, I know he's got it in him to bust some moves.

I've always said he lacks charisma but the way people on this forum are talking about him you'd think he had no personality whatsoever. He's a bit stiff, and his showboating is terrible but I've seen far, far worse sports "stars" than him. I dunno it's strange, I never thought I'd be defending JC:?

That judge who described his dancing as rigor mortis shouldn't talk, he always looks and speaks like he's got a stick up his arse. Joe would love to unleash a 5 slap combination on him.

Anyway, I think Joe doesn't really care about the super six, he's had a really good career. He might be thinking "wha the **** have I got myself into" with this dancing thing though.

How does Froch feel more like?

He's defending his title in his first fight of a tournament that's got the boxing world buzzing, yet he's stuck away on a channel no-one has heard of at 2am watched by a few thousand die hards.

Meanwhile Calzaghe's prime time on BBC1 being watched by eight and a half million!

No ****in chance. I watch **** TV like Big Brother etc, but why would I want to watch Joe Calzaghe if he wasnt fighting? Hes hardly as funny as a Naz or as intruiging as a Eubank, Outside of the ring he has no selling point.
Inside the ring though? Hes pretty much got all his bases covered. Props to him, even though he got a gift against Hopkins.

Just dont ask me to watch him ballroom dancing. I didnt watch Holyfield or Mayweather dancing, & Im NOT gonna start with Joe Calzaghe!

aah if only he had fought Froch before he retired... just thinking out loud folks.

Oh, & speaking of Froch, I think hes in a shitload of trouble when he fights the matrix at the weekend... I can see an L coming for Froch.

I might take you up on that, Dan! I dont know anything about the show to be honest, but if Joe dancing is as funny as you say... I will give it a go!

As for Froch, I been watching as much of Dirrell as I can, & let me just say this. The guy is pretty untested, but he has some weapons in his armoury that can hurt Froch, his speed & slipperyness.
If he fights to his potential,(and its a BIG if) he could be a stylistic nightmare for Froch. His blazing handspeed could cause the relatively slow Froch a big headache.

However, Dirrell is still a bit of an enigma, & I wouldnt be shocked if I was proven wrong. Froch has the big fight experience, & is fighting in his own backyard. Two big plus points.

However, as a certain Teddy Atlas would say, power thrills but speed kills, & thats why Im picking Dirrell to pull of the upset. Fast slippery fighter vs slow cumbersome big puncher with a great chin, Im picking the faster guy to pick apart the slower guy & win by a surprising 7th round stoppage win.
