Jones from the Ruiz fight against the best version of Sam Peter, Micheal Moorer,Derek Chisora and Shannon Briggs?
:deal however, which version of briggs would he be fighting? a prime briggs isn't an atg but he's a serious heavyweight.
Ruiz was slow as syrup, with a poor workrate and still tagged Roy at times that night If Ruiz had any semblance of power he would have put Jones on ***** street Just one punch from a prime Sam Peter or Briggs and Jones will be crawling around looking for pieces of his shattered mandible Moorer is not a hard puncher but he's ten times better fighter than Ruiz and Chisora would eat Jones' punches and run over him like a tank. In short, they all crack his pourcelain mandible
That's how simple minded brains work, I guess FACT: Ruiz was a handpicked, tailor made opponent for Jones A slow as syrup hw who can't punch And for some reason, the referee didn't allow Ruiz to use his excessive clinching tactics either that night (his only triumph card) Jones wouldn't have all those advantages against these fighters, because they actually can punch, or box, or have a relentless pressure style along with a great chin. Odds are Jones gets starched against all of them.
I don't think Jones could beat an elite heavyweight like Lewis, Wlad, Vitali, Holyfield etc but he might have enough to beat the ones mentined in the OP.

remember, Jones had a very low punch output at HW plus, that awful chin... I expect Briggs would catch him and KO him brutally, Moore would beat him, Chisora and Peter would eat his punches but land very little, so Jones possibly gets the dec against them, as long as he avoids getting hit
